My guess is that it's a piece of metal from the maneuver gear or whatever it's called.

In the first volume of the manga, on Page 30, does anyone else have the typo, "direcly," in their copy? Or am I the only one?

Episode sixteen:
- If you freeze the video around minute 14:48, you will count around 18 people who stayed to join the Survey Corps.

- If you freeze the video, then around minute 15:25, you will count about 24 people in the classroom.

how can this inconsistency in the number of people who entered the Survey Corps can be explained?

Why is Rainer in the Recon corps?

Didn't he walk away with Annie to join the MP oO?

In manga, it's clearly stated that there are 21 cadets remain to join recon corp. So it's anime studio fuck the number up as usual

Reiner stayed there to join recon corp in both manga and anime.
Back in Episode 3, He also said he want to return to his hometown so it's natural that he join recon corp.

Beltholt, however, did say he want to join MP back in training episode. I don't know how come he suddenly join recon corp instead.

Reiner stayed there to join recon corp in both manga and anime.
Back in Episode 3, He also said he want to return to his hometown so it's natural that he join recon corp.

The song "Jiyuu no Tsubasa" ends with "Die Flügel der Freiheit" but there is still choir that has never been used in the lyrics. Any idea what are they saying? I'm pretty sure they repeat the line involving "Gloria" but the rest is too confusing.

Because others probably went back to their quarters, or were off screen. Or, they could have been separated into different groups.

What's the actually military rank of the other Squad leaders like Hanji and Mike in the Corps?
I know that Erwin is a Commander and Levi's a Captain.

Also, why on earth did Kondansha USA rearrange Hanji's name from "Hange Zoe" to "Zoe Hange"?
Even the anime has her name pronounced as "Hange Zoe"!
