Yes, there are fansubs of the remaining 50 episodes, and yes, with some dedication you can get a hold of them. The subs are of varying quality, though.

I've recently learned that the Funimation's Kodocha DVDs are discontinued.

Meaning the fansubs, with their awful-awful subs of episodes 40-51, are going to be the only way to watch the first half of the series soon.

I've deemed that unacceptable and am working on redoing some better subs of 40-51 . They'll be provided here as I finish. My only goal is to allow for continued consumption of the series, so let me know if you can help out in any way.

I'm only providing the .srt (text) files to avoid any legal issues.
