Incase anyone didn't know - Dynasty Warriors Gundam 4 will have Official Modes for UC and SEED/Destiny only.

I hope this isn't what the first Gundam game "Gundam Crossfire/Target In Sight" was to the ps3, only centered around the one year war.

The trailer that showed with it had the RX-78...so....it could be possible. Maybe a video game adaption of Origin, to coincide with the anime?

Never going to happen. But this means it is time for me to pick up a PS3... After the PS4 rolls out, of course.

Nope. Just import a damn thing. It's pretty import-friendly anyway. Localization would involve with songs licensing, which is a pain in the ass.

Then there is no point to localize it anyway....removing the songs would result in huge revolt and rage regarding the game, and people would just import it since the price different isn't all that much (I got mine from AmiAmi for 69$). There is no story in the game, so I don't really know why do people want this game to be localized. All the technique, moveset, etc also aren't presented in the game, too.

This is most likely another simulation game, and I ask myself: why another one?

I am not too sure how excited I will be. I have been playing Gundam simulations since Dreamcast, and they've not really done much to improve the gameplay other than updating graphics.

I dare say the best Gundam game I have ever played was Generation CE followed by the Gihren's Ambition series. Both are vastly grand titles. Then again, I am a big sucker for strategy games, but I think nothing illustrates the scale of war in Gundam's context better than those two.

I have to disagree about that, the first game came with a robust custom music option so as long as this one has it too there wouldn't really be much of a problem.

That's the problem. People still can't figure out which bit-rate and format that won't work in the game, and the quality of those that worked sounds like shit. There is no volume normalizing in-game either, and you have to do everything on your PC, which results in some bitrate that's corrupted in games. Also, you can only replace the existed songs, not include more or your own playlist.

Basically, if you don't care about audio, then it's good enough.

Probably cause it's too much work to actually modify stuff except for including a menu screen.
Copy and paste the arcade version, add in some new suits they already had ready, magic.
Localizing a game, that needs no text translated gameplay wise is pointless.
