Shop around on the sites listed in the "Where to buy manga" sticky. In addition to those, I also buy a lot from www.animecastle.com

cheap manga

the amazon vendor peoples sell them cheap too like half price if you click the new & used button, but im kinda scared to try it cuz thats really cheap and you gotta rely on other people so i dunno about that one.I'll try to buy a couple books that way,but if anyone bought books off people that way, lemme know how it turned out

It's usually a good experience buying used manga from people. But sometimes you get stuff that is in worse condition than you expected, or is just not what you were looking for. E.g. I bought some early Dragonball volumes that were in positively new condition as promised, but they turned out to be the censored versions. Obviously that's no one's fault, so I couldn't return them. That's the sort of thing you've got to watch out for. Most of my experiences have been very positive though.

US peeps: Get to know somebody at B Dalton Booksellers or your local equiv and get their 30% employee discount.

That's how I ended up with 11 volumes of MARS and 12+ of Kare Kano.
