I just finished The state of the art ( from Iain M Banks) and 文学少女”と月花を孕く水妖 ( the 6th vol of the ''Bungaku Shoujo'' serie)
I should start 文学少女”と神に臨む作家上 and Le fondement de la morale from Schopenhauer.

Having nightmares with Marcel Proust's À la recherche du temps perdu (English translation: "In Search of Lost Time"). I started this book 3 months ago, and so far, I've been able to read the first 100 pages, out of 400. It’s so difficult to understand, even though the translation is in the language I feel the most comfortable with (not English; hate English)… the metaphysical nature of the prose is quite unique and at the same time very dreadful. I loved this kind of style since I haven’t read something this “good” in quite a while, but unfortunately, more often than not, I’m not able to understand/remember half of the stuff that is going on.
Another book that I’m reading in conjunction to this is the first part of the Twilight Series. I heard about this book sometime ago and I found it on the bookstore the other day, so why not, it's the bestseller on Amazon... not that bad, not that good either... it strongly reminded me of a Shoujo Manga--go figure why...  I'm half-way through with the first book; I will probably finish it over the weekend.Maybe I'm going to pick up Toradora! again, since I stopped with the second volume and the guys at Baka Tsuki have already finished the translation on the third one. Might as well read it... |

Falkor, don't worry. I've 'read' Finnegans Wake but could not continue after 50 pages of Swann's Way. Proust is like that to many people. There's no need to worry.
Per a friend's recommendation, I'm currently reading Virgil's Aeneid.

Sophie Kinsella - Shopaholic and Baby The tone of both of these seem kind of contrast, but that is my purpose. Whenever i am in for some serious reading, i read Obama's book. Whenever i am in hyper mood, i read Shopaholic series. There, perfect. |

I managed to read a few pages of the script at my internship...  Through a few degrees of separation I know of someone who was involved in the production of the movie.

Well, I recently finished reading the 8th book in the Ranger's Apprentice series((John Flanagan)Brace yourself for a shock because it's not bad after all that, I'll pause for a moment so you can find your socks which just blew off.) and then I asked one of my friends about Twilight when I saw her reading Eclipse(Third book in the series by Stephenie Meyer), and so I started reading it, it honestly exceeded what I expected, why, i'm gonna continue reading after I take a shower.

Diamond Dogs (Alastair Reynolds). The first story in a book containing two short stories. Immensely rich with background information, like all his previous short stories, and a great deal of horror and psychological weight for the reader.
I am not easily disturbed by written text, but Diamond Dogs makes me feel a bit wierd. It's mostly human psychology/physology that is played on in this story and the result is not always beatiful. A really well-worth read.

Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck ... a literary masterpiece spanning over five decades.
Currently reading The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, by Juno Diaz. Just finished The Elephant Vanishes.. I've only got Norwegian Woods and Sputnik Sweetheart before I'm done Murakami's literary works. I hear Norwegian Woods is the best one, too. Woo hoo!
