I wonder if this is Sunrise's new way to mindscrew the viewer i.e set up expectations for a typical Sunrise mindscrew with some messy scenes but then make the rest of the show fun and lighthearted. The viewer wont be able to let his guard down for the rest of the series after a brutal first 2 episodes, afraid to get attached to any characters, constantly expecting to be betrayed even in the most unassuming moments (thanks Euphie). Then the show ends with a happy finale, no one dies, and then you know that you can't even trust Sunrise to be Sunrise any more.

I was just going to talk about that, it's hilarious. Ange's got the smuggest faces, making it even funnier, I wish they'd animate it.

I dunno, I think episode 17 and onwards is where shit'll hit the fan. Maybe the last few episodes will end on a happy note, but I'm expecting tears to be shed and people to be salty, especially when certain chars return.

Sala must have had a lot of spare time on her hands. . Honestly, it's refreshing to see that while she has some clear similarities to Lacus (the pink color scheme, the princess aspect, the songstress aspect), the differences in this case are pure hilarity. Nice to see the princess figure have a competitive aspect to her. Would be even more hilarious if Lacus herself did things like this .

Why Princess Nine? Ange's pitching reminds me of Kyojin no Hoshi so it's a good fit in my opinion!

On the other hand, it's interesting to see those DRAGONs reverse-engineer humanity's technology. No wonder they have Ryushinki on their arsenal!
