BL 76: Garcia is a Bad-Ass.

I called this coming way back when he first appeared; this kid has the potential to be the most formidable Bad-ass of all the badasses in this series.

I found 76 laughable, how can the artist show garcia packing a 1911 and shooting one with the hammer down twice? It won't fire unless it's cocked in the single action position. This just irked me to no end.

There are double-action trigger assemblies available for 1911-style pistols, but that's not really kosher for the US military.

Even with this, Black Lagoon is still leagues ahead of most anime and manga series' in terms of accurately portraying firearms, at least visually. The sound effects are just horrible in the anime, however; especially Revy's 92. But then again, accurately sounding firearms are rare in any form of media.

It is Chapter 76, but it seems to be from the tankoubon version of Chapter 76 inside Volume 9 of Black Lagoon.

Up till now, I hated and wanted him to raise the death flag for Roberta. She kinda got pretty annoying imo, especially after this ARC kept getting dragged on and on and on. That scene kinda changed my views though, I wonder how she will react...

The artbook has been out for awhile technically it was a doujinshi but in black and white. I have it, but it's only like 7 pages long. Can't wait to own it in full color with the whole cast in swimsuits. I have his other 2 artbooks.

I've never heard or seen a 1911 that is capable of being double action especially a old GI Colt. Besides I re-read it, Garcia fires it once then it has failure to extract then he racks the slide to clear it and chamber a new round, then in the next picture the hammer is down again when the action of the slide just cocked it.

Man that missing image was amazing I had the Sunday GX and it didn't have that pic. Can't wait fot the tokuban.
