i can be wrong but for what i know is a mix between akira and bandai(anime director) like akira make the general storyboard for the arc and some key episodes then the anime director and scrit writers do the other things like a partnership, like how mashima like to do sometimes in fairy tail anime and movies.

Toriyama creates an outline, then hands it off to both Toei and Toyotaro, who each will try their best to interpret what Toriyama wants from the outline.

It's easy to infer what was on this outline via the similarities between the anime and Toyotaro's manga -- see Trunk's senzu kiss to Mai and the infamous admission about Goku never kissing Chi-chi EVER.

At the same time, it's possible for the interpretations to vary WILDLY. SSB Kaio-ken is Toei's take on Goku breaking his limits, while 100% Super Saiyan Blue (which recently appeared in the manga) seems to be Toyotaro's take on it.

I'm embarrassed to say that when the angel said Universe 11 was going something "special" to pump up before the battle, that hand motion had me thinking something else. And then instead it's a loli angel and a bunch of giant morons doing a silly dance. Roshi was a lot closer to what I expected.

Oh come on, that scene with Mr. Popo was definitely inspired by DBZ Abridged, this is definitely set in that timeline.

It seems like the beans will have to be spilled next week in order to justify Goku choosing to recruit Frieza to the others.

The magical girl parody was pretty funny. I didn't expect her to transform into that.

Krillin and 18 will change their mind after finding out the truth and Buu will wake up after the ordeal with Freeza coming back. I mean Buu felling asleep now is so cop out after his fight in the exhibition match and we know Freeza cant be trusted.

but as we see "frost is not a super dangerous" foe which turned part of the universe his slave, he is different from freeza, he just love money while freezawas more "be the big boss" he was afraid even of the cops as we se, he is not really a big threat as freeza.

There are 2 things I liked about episode 91.

1) Cus dancing and Godtube
2) Sailormoon parody or rather Zarbon 2.0

I can see why Zamasu was so hellbent to destroy mortal worlds.

The difference being, if Frost steps out of line, Hit can kill him without breaking a sweat. If Frieza steps out of line, unless Beerus himself decides to step in (which he might, given the circumstances), he's going to give some trouble even to Goku and Vegeta.
