Question is in the title.

I would prefer it if the setting was in a game-like world (Virtual Reality).
For example LMS or Re:Monster but it's not necessary.

The MC should be something like Tatsuya from Mahouka who isn't totally oblivious to his surroundings and extremely cunning.
People around him should underestimate him and then drop their jaws when they see his powers firsthand or learn about his true identity.
And not too many childhood friends please...

Rudei fron mushoku tensei
Saijo bahamut
Rakudai kishi(MC 1 minute ToP)
more or less, hajime is a badass
Rudei is too humble but his power is the real deal
Lux mecha wipe out his kingdom
One turn kill of the dark partisan(mc power can wipe out the world if he desire so)

I second Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou (="From common Job Class to Strongest of the World"). It has a non-virtual fantasy world, but in that world there are "magical stat display tablets" so it does have the JRPGsque feeling. However keep in mind that the protagonist takes a few chapters until he becomes badass. This isn't even a real LN though, since it only exists in web-novel form and was not published yet, but it is very popular in the same place, where SAO and other popular LNs originated, so it being published at some point is very likely.

I also second Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan (="A Chivalry of the Failed Knight"). There is no virtual world setting, but the protagonist's circumstances are surprisingly similar to Mahouka's Tatsuya.

DenYuuDen - Ryner doesn't realy try, but he is powerfull, in second part he get standartly OP in all aspects (he would kick Tatsuya ass anytime there).

That works better. Also lux mecha seems to be a character from the light novel "Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut"

I thought Ryner only had his OP for like one battle and then he was back to his just "strong" self, that is the main reason I didn't read the LN.

If we are talking about human terms and not awakened god-tier powers like the one you are alluding to, Ryner is actually very OP. He is one of the strongest, if not the strongest, elites even when he was just a child.
That god-tier power awakened is just too broken and will completely break the story and make the story un-readable if he continues to retain that...... so I seriously doubt you will continue reading it anyway whichever way it is.

I would recommend you Accel World and Sword Art Online, both MCs are powerful and they're both set in a Virtual Reality environment.
