Even if the chapter can be summed up as Miyu and Julian...trying to hang in there .

I mean honestly that's basically it. They are trying not to get overrun by these giants and unfortunately the other side is powering up to deal with that resistance.

Ok, so this one moved things forward a bit.

I wouldn't have called Beatrice being the one to save the day here. But good on her. I'll take the excuse for her being able to pull Illya's name from the void and that being enough to get everyone to remember her as well. If nothing else it definitely justifies the efforts Illya made during their fight.

Also kind of nice to have Kuro mentioned for the first time in...a couple years(?) I'd like to think that Miyu noting Kuro's existence will mean that there will end up being a way to recover her and she isn't just getting remembered only so Miyu and the others can be informed of her death later.

Either way, Miyu is on the move. Hopefully she can do something. We'll have to see how this plays out. But at least the chapter felt like a pretty substantial one. Lot of nice little moments like Julian and Beatrice meeting up again.

Miyu's gone third ascension on us! Going to presume this is way more effective than her somewhat terrible FGO kit!

Love it. And love that Miyu is breaking out her mind to make the most of the situation. Obviously Illya being gone is the last thing she wants and the last thing she'll accept as an outcome. But she's using that to max out her power. Of course that would mean reality could get rewritten in all sorts of crazy ways and impact characters like Rin and Luvia. But for now Miyu used her situation to gain her full power and is bringing it all against Darius!

Also Beatrice is awesome. Even though spreading the word of Illya is important, I'm glad she's mentioning Kuro as well. Gives a long-shot hope that she isn't gone for good here.

And Shirou's situation gets more context and it isn't good. He did win that fight, but he got pulled into that mud. I can't imagine Sakura will accept that kind of lover's suicide. This version of Sakura I imagine will do everything she can (of what is left of her in that thing) to help Shirou in some way. Just curious to see what she does.

Exploiting this loophole to regain her powers was pretty smart.

Here's hoping! I don't think Miyu could afford the originally nerfed kit she was saddled with!

It is nice though to see her using her head. That's certainly one of her strengths and it's a good way to power up in the short term. Can't wait to see what her powers in this state can really do.

Since Miyu is a Grail, of course she can summon heroic spirits! She didn't summon Emiya but there's apparently a reason for it (I guess she needs the card for Kuro).

Kind of a full circle moment. The initial premise of the series was to fight corrupted versions of the F/SN Servants and seal them, and now they get to cut loose!

Oh my god! Miyu just went so absolutely all out here! Woo!

Of course she can tap into her full potential to summon servants. Not going to be half-baked shadow servants this time. She's unleashing a holy grail war right on Darius' head!

Next chapter (and maybe more) will be insane. I mean full out FSN servants going for it. Full power Artoria, Heracles, Medusa, Cu, Medea, and Hassan! Now some of them are probably be more useful in this sort of fight than others. But seriously...this is going to be insane!

And hey, props to Beatrice for getting one last attack off. Fair enough to have her take a seat considering the cavalry has arrived!

Please...please let this idea be true! Come on Miyu. If she can pull off getting Kuro back she's getting all the praise in the world! I didn't think about it right away, but yeah it does make sense. She showed off the Archer card. And yet only 6 servants were shown off. Now one element I suppose is that she would be conflicted in sending a version of her brother out to fight. But I think it makes the most sense to restore that card and have it available to get Kuro back. At least I hope so.

Ok! No surprise that Miyu can't just summon that many servants for a long drawn out battle. But the benefit is that we get to see what this group can do when united in a short-term fight! I think Cu summed it up well with his shock at this whole situation right after being summoned !

Just pure satisfaction in seeing the various servants just unloading on Darius! Everyone getting their piece of it. Some satisfying shots like Medusa's petrification and Heracles just going nuts! And of course you have to top it off with an Excalibur blast!

A bit more shocking that they might have miracle'd a way for Sakura to survive! I hope Shirou isn't dead since surviving at that cost would be devastating for Sakura. But it does allow for a potentially interesting path forward. And at the very least it does let Shirou tackle one huge regret he'd carried the whole way.

I'll admit that I'm not sure how that all worked . Maybe Sakura did something. Although I'm not sure how much she knew about the card her brother was using. I guess there's a long-shot option that whatever part of Shinji was still in there was involved in her heart being stuck in a pocket dimension? Or maybe Rin was involved somehow since she didn't seem too surprised to see Sakura surface? Hopefully they do actually give some explanation there.

It is too bad they won't be hanging around for very long. But it was pretty nice to see all those heroic spirits hanging around and united against a common foe. I suppose it would be too much for Miyu to keep all of them around for an extended period of time.

On the note of bullshit, I'm far more interested in seeing if they can BS Kuro into surviving . But I am honestly curious how they'll manage to get Illya back. It's got to happen, but how is up in the air. Guess we'll see what Darius does as things get worse for him and what Pandora might do.

I do wonder if the missing Emiya from Miyu's mass servant summon will be involved in the survival of Miyuverse Shirou? Or I guess it could also connect to Kuro potentially surviving. I can't imagine he was left out for no reason.

Well after resummoning all the Servants that were the cards from the series, which I doubt is an accident, they're probably going to be reforged into cards again, and Shirou will survive because the essence of the EMIYA card will be extracted from him to recreate the Archer card which will bring Kuro back, from some sort of imprint on the card, since the card was the catalyst of her existence in the world after all. As for how they'll bullshit Illya back into reality? Yeah... even my gerbil brain can't figure that one out.

As far as Sakura/Rin is concerned, my impression was Rin still thinks Sakura is an enemy. With how tenacious she was as a Berserker, it makes sense that Rin was expecting her to show back up. But things will be different once she realizes this is actual Sakura and not Berserker Doll Sakura.

As for Kuro, it won't be hard. The Archer card in this reality should be fine. It's likely that the reason Miyu didn't summon Emiya (unlike the rest of the FSN cast) was specifically so she had the card on hand to save Kuro once Illya comes back. Remember, Kuro's personality/consciousness is inside Illya, so they'd just have to extract it into the Archer card like at the start of 2wei.

For Illya, clearly she's the hope within Pandora's Box. With Pandora's new personality, once she's freed she'll likely open the box and Illya will pop out.

That's actually such a solid idea for Illya that I feel kind of dumb for not thinking it . That would actually be pretty perfect. I do wonder if she'll get brought back for a climactic final attack or just after all is said and done? Probably the former, but it would be kind of cool to have Miyu really take charge here and Illya/Kuro come back after the main struggle is wrapped up.

I'm honestly still a bit nervous with Kuro after the way she went out. But it does seem very likely that she'll be pulled back and that side of things will be fine. Well until they have to deal with the obvious issue of the Mage Association still wanting those cards and having it as part of Kuro's core is problematic for that. But one issue at a time.
