Remember that shadowy figure that SEES was pursuing throughout the Abyss of Time? It looked exactly like the P3MC except was entirely black and had glowing eyes. Hell, it was even dubbed the "???" during the battle with it.

What if this is the exact same sort of entity, only this time in this game, it's taking Yu's form?

hmmm the reason why "???" from P3 existed and had P3 MC's form was because of the main cast of P3. The trouble that was bugging their hearts (especially Aigis) were all related to P3 MC (mainly because he sort of "died").

in P4, Yu never died or got lost. something related to him needs to exist in order for him to take form I think.
Don't tell me the main cast of P4 just missed him so much that this shadow took form lol that would be.....weird

Or... maybe they did miss him that much lol, they seemed rather broken up when he left. Of course, it was only a few months after, but he was the only one who didn't have a shadow. Now that he can speak, and subsequently has a character of some kind now, they'll probably give him a reason to have a shadow now.

Uh, is there any proof whatsoever that picture is legitimate? I've been seeing pictures of Shadow Yu's portrait like that since P4A first came out and I still haven't seen any footage of him, or any actual information on him whatsoever. Why is everyone so convinced it's real all of a sudden? Surely SOMETHING would've come up by now?

While the picture is not 100% convincing, the fact that files pertaining to the character, most notably their music theme, being ripped from the game itself is more than enough to convince me he exists.

And notice that in that picture they're only going into the 4th match? That's too low to be a boss character, so my guess that there's an incredibly low percentage encounter rate for that particular character. There's likely no video of them yet because I'm sure most folk don't have the time to sit in front of an arcade machine for hours on end with a video camera waiting for that character to appear.

Anyway, Atlus USA released the first English tutorial for the game today, featuring Teddie and Rise's VA's:

Looks like they couldn't get Teddie's VA back for this game. It's a shame since it was a rather unique voice he had. The new guy is obviously trying to imitate it but it could use a lot of work.

They got Laura Bailey for Rise again though.~

They're in, they're called "One More Cancels" in this game. It's an advanced technique, though. The video only covers the basic stuff.

That's a damn shame. His Japanese voice is earcancer, so I definitely won't be using it, either. ...Maybe I can just turn his voice off?

Considering Atlus is involved, I don't think we'll have the option of keeping Japanese voices. Most likely it'll just be English dub only for NA.

They don't really have an excuse this time. The game is not going to take up a significant percentage of the disk; it would cost them nothing to include the original language.

Yeah, there's a separate licensing fee for the Japanese voiceovers. Also, Atlus USA has stated that they don't like it when people ignore their English dubs.

Then don't have one or two dub actors that suck. They replace Chie, due to complaints, but now they can't get Dave Wittenberg back, who was one of the few really good things the dub had over the original? I don't get this.

I beg to differ. Kappei Yamaguchi suits Teddie's position as a wacky cartoon-ish character to a tee. I'd prefer him over this new English voice.~

(Besides, having the guy behind the voice of the king of snipers is also a plus in my book. Lu lu la la lu.~)

It's a legal issue, Atlus may own the game but that doesn't mean they own everything in it.
