Mannerisms like Sylvia? Neither of them are anything like Sylvia as neither of them are abusive tsunderes with obsessions over a brother.
And powers come from the soul/personality, not the body.

Well that's rather vague, though. Mix is a pretty brutal warrior, I mean we've actually seen her physically fight Andy and kick his ass. Warrior could just as easily be Celianne, Sylvia, Touma, Apollo, Apollonius, or any number of other characters.

Apollonius rejected Touma's unrequited love in the original in favor of Celiane. Touma continued to love him/his reincarnation. Could it be that Zessica = Touma, Amata = part of Apollonius/Aquarion and Mikono (connection power/scent) is Silvia/Celiane?

that whole talk about guys picking sweet girls like mikono being said so that it can be changed in the end? fighting for them and protecting them etc

something like how andy was saying he is triggering death flags by confessing.

there were 2 or 3 tropes in this episode that need to be broken, will kawamori's anime do it?

as for zessica being a warrior that is what she wants to believe she is. even in the preview she states it. she wants to believe it but in the end she is fragile just like silvia/reika/celiane etc

As for Kagura, his nose seems to work on a metaphysical level. Unless we admit Amata is indeed a creepy creature that doesn't smell at all.

My thoughts are almost the same that they are showing Reika and Silvia(their images are very similar to them) and they show the OVA's Island, lake, forest where Reikia and Silvia meet Apollo. The whole episode was about these two girls bond. I can only think one thing Zessica is Reika.

Zen this episode gave me vibes of Toma again.

The only reason i don't think zessica is reika is because of the ED picture. reika has nothing to do with book of genesis. also, the writers do tell us that some of pictures represent past selves while some represent future things to happen.

Considering this show is supposed to be a stand alnone and that the flashbacks haven't shown anything about Reika, she's a non factor in the reincarnation mess.

Yeah Fudo mentioning those makes you think if there is more to Apollonius and Celiane story.

Things we know they met in battle outside Atlandia and somehow fell in love under the Tree of Life. Now we get the symbolic implication that it was Otoha's fault.

Probably so she can have Touma all to herself.

Which bring to question if Otoha reincarnated in this era. Wild speculation is that Otoha is reincarnated in Shrade given their musical attributes.

So there is a part of the wings of Sun in the golden robot and another part somewhere else. Probably Amata (ditto Kagura who recognized him as such in episode 1), but Mikage hasn't noticed it yet.

The part of the wings of the sun is a reference to the segment of the original aquarion's arm as it used the mugen punch at the very end. The other part is obviously elsewhere because of how extensive the range of mugen punch is.

But the wording and scenes are ambiguous on purpose so that the other part being amata could also be a possibility.

Amata originally lived in Neo-Landia, a place so old that its name has been all but forgotten. Until 4000 years ago, science and technology on Vega had been advancing. When something was excavated some two hundred years ago, there was a new technological renaissance. The skyscrapers of Neo-Kowloon were built to observe/in tribute to whatever was excavated.

If you considere that Chouchou is the honest manifestation of Mikono's feelings, it kinda makes sense.

This episode highlighted the fact Mikono isn't a really honest person in regard of her being unable to openly express her feelings (something she envies Zessica over).
