Subaru and Emilia are a lot closer after Arc 4 and Emilia herself has started/has fallen for him. That's the biggest change so far.

Rem had her memories and "name" (which is her identity) stolen by the Archbishop of Gluttony during the fight with Archbishop of Sloth, Petegeuse. Because of that she is in a stasis where her "time has stopped" and world has forgotten about her aside from Subaru like when she was erased by the White Whale. She remains that way up to present, but Subaru is currently on a lead to a finding cure as of Arc 6.

And a correction, Rem was the one said that by the way. Subaru responded that it depend on Emilia.

Hasn't been spoken much about it since near the end of Arc 3 and the beginning of Arc 4. He still loves them both though, and Subaru does come to visit Rem often. However she isn't an active character at the moment in her state.

Okay you are confusing two different things. First harem=/=polygamy especially when it is a love triangle. Second, Tappei doesn't like harems outside eroge, and he hasn't said anything on polygamy. Lastly just because author has a character he favors doesn't stop a rival and love triangle from happening.

Anyway, Ch 49 parts 2-3 is up and that completes it.

Actually they brought that up again in the early parts of arc 6, Emillia said she is fine with Rem having Subaru for while because Subaru will surely stick with her after she wakes up but she won't give up easily

It kinda hinted she is fine with sharing because she want subaru's happiness above else

First no need to double post, just edit your last one.

Someone put the harem tag on here a long time ago before the series got off the ground. The tag can't remove by me, so I just placed a not harem last year.

So, a harem, per se, is out of count for now.
