I'm looking for anime that has female characters that have long hair.

The #1 girl that comes to mind instantly for me is:

Tsuruya-san from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. We're talking ankle length Shame she doesn't appear more frequently though.

I searched but most of them I didn't like, either because of the design of the female or the storyline

Thank you Cyz for suggesting that. I watched the first episode, liked it and eager to watching more of it soon

I Googled and wiki on all of the suggestions but it seems there is only 1 suggestion I liked.

Any tips on how to search animes that has long hairs? I am fond of female hair that has pointy, slightly curved, hair above the eyes and hair that's in front of the shoulder. A basic example is below:

Hmm, if you liked Zephy, you should certainly check out Erementar Gerad as Jed also suggested. It's a fun ride and Ren is ultra moe with long blue hair

Shouko has that look in Asatte no Houkou, though she doesn't keep it throughout the anime.
