I watched this documentary the other day and I was absolutely amazed at how much has been going on without anyone actually knowing. I never liked George Dubya but after watching this I was completely dumfounded. The whole documentary was completely spinny-outty!

Wow, this thread made my brain fall asleep after a while, but here I am at the end... and all I can add is a response to an off topic point of contention.

It is significant to note that after everything that was thrown at him, not a single conviction resulted. As for the only charge that was backed with solid evidence, that of perjury, he plea bargained out of it. In exchange for dropping the charge, he agreed to give up his law license for 5 years. I know it seems like a weak deal, but seriously, he didn't lie about a criminal offense. The most any judge was gonna do was fine him a couple of grand for obstruction of justice and let it go.

Now if you're looking for poetic justice (or the miscarraige thereof) you can take interest in the fact that the government has denied restitution for the $6.5 million dollars the Clintons were forced to spend in their defense, effectively sticking the innocent defendants with about 8% of the total legal bill. You say normal people would serve jail time for perjury? Well, normally defendants who are cleared of the charges aren't out of a fortune either.

If you want my opinions about the topic, Moore is a good film maker, but to lionize him beyond that status (for better or for worse) is to open yourself up to the kind of ridicule that he specializes in.
