I wanted ZnT to have it's own forum, this is cool.
I thought this episode was good but just good. I loved the previous episodes for it's comedy and I thought this episode was lacking in that department. I'm hoping the anime doesn't make a sudden u-turn and become a lovey-dovey cheesy romance anime (hoping). I do, however, wouldn't mind romance elements at all; just not as a core element, tis all. Good episode, none the less. |

I thought the episode was great! We finally get to see Louise shed some of her anger and showed some actual admiration and respect for her familiar.
So they finally revealed that he is Gandalf, although, I have no idea what the significance of that is. I hope the story will go into the deeper meaning of it soon. It looks like they might be going into deeper plots with the royal court.

Something puzzles me.She is called Zero Louise because she is said to never have been able to cast a spell, yet she does use magic every once in a while. In her room she can light and dim the candle by snapping her fingers and in this episode after jumping off the Sylph she floated gently to the ground. What's with that?
This episode was fun,it seems Louise cares a lot more about Saito than I thought, seeing how she refused to dance with any other nobles and went straight for Saito. |

she has never cast a successful spell, meaning every big spell she had intend to do something, didn't go the way it's suppose to. That's why she's called Zero. for Zero spells that does what she wants.
As for the floating thing, she shouts to tabita to help her when she jumps off the sylph, since Tabita control wind magic, it's logical to assume she was asking tabita to help her get to the ground.

Actually, i think its the number of 系統(elements) she commands. Mages are ranked by the number of elements they can use: 0 = zero 1 = dot 2 = line 3 = triangle 4 = square She has not mastered any at all, so she is a humiliating "zero" rank mage. |

for your information she's a 32A. So technically it' isn't zero. But you could still use it as a aircraft landing strip so meh, it's pretty much zero.

Gave this episode a seven. A few little things that jarred, namely that the entire faculty of the school, Old Osmand included, are perfectly fine with three students going out after a wanted criminal who commands a giant golem (seriously, Osmand's rationalisations are a bit silly - Kirche can use fire magic! Tabitha is a low level knight! This familiar has a sword! They must be fine!). Oh, also
Spoiler for episode7:
Other than that, I did quite enjoy the episode. The dance animation could have been a bit more fluid, but it was still solidly enjoyable. Looking forward to a subtitled 7. -Andiyar

Yeah this was a nice episode. I mean you got some nice fighting (human technology 1, magic 0) Got to see Louise open up and really give Saito respect, and get closer to him. Honestly I didn't see the weapon turn out as a rocket launcher, I really was expecting some big staff. Oh well pretty cool though.
Regardless of the exact measurements her bust size is pretty close to 0. |

Y'know it really gets to me how none of the characters suspected who Foquet really was for like... up until she not-so-suprisingly shows up after the golem is defeated. How many green haired chicks do they have over there wearing the exact same outfit minus the hood with a different hairstyle that happened to be a triangle-class mage stripped of their nobility? =| Oh well, at least they didn't blatently show that she had pink nail polish or I really woulda been banging my head on my keyboard.
