The Avengers: Age of Ultron

In the 70's John Buscema (Marvel artist) used to draw Ultron really, really cool. Definitely looking forward to this movie.

I wonder if any of the Avengers 3 plot will be drawn from the old Avengers Giant Issue which featured the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Spiderman all fighting Thanos on his HUGE starship?

You're talking about the one that spun off of that Captain Marvel storyline? I think the issue with the Guardians meeting the Avengers were a part of the Korvac Saga though.

I don't disagree that a strong female character can have romantic interests right out of the box (the Hunger Games plays quite a bit with this), but in an already cluttered film, introductions will be short by necessity, and if she is supposed to be in a romantic relationship then quite a bit of her screentime would be focused in part on that specific relationship. Consequently, her appearance would be just as much about if not more about her romantic entanglements than her as a more fully formed character.

Marvel is pretty good about making their females strong, even the love interests, look at Pepper Potts, and I don't even think Danvers will be a love interest to Banner to that extent either. By sheer fact she's in the Air Force or SHIELD gives her more depth than just another love interest. I think she can have an active role in the movie due ot her connections to the military and possibly Rhodes in a similar fashion to Hill in the first movie, just using Banner as a device to more closely integrate her into the team and giving Banner himself more to work with.

Just cause she is there doesn't mean she needs to be paired up. Hill didn't need to get it on with Captain America to be even partially relevant nor did Black Widow need to make doe eyes at any of her team mates. Romantic definition should be secondary to all characters, at least with their introductions...unless they have an entire film to establish themselves (I wouldn't mind some romance in a potential Ms. Marvel film, but that is only because there would be time to establish her as a character before we need to worry about how she can change when romance is added to the story).

Also remember, when Danvers was first introduced in the comics she started out as the human love interest to Mar-Vell and they slowly expanded her role as time past. I think they are doing the same in the MCU, just starting how out as involved with Banner instead.

What Marvel did in the 70s should in no way directly influence what they are doing today.

(And no, I really do not like the idea of Vision being a potential boyfriend to Wanda in the upcoming film, partially because Paul Bettany is 42 and Elizabeth Olsen is 24.)

No, it was confirmed about 3-4 weeks ago when they showed a scene of the Hulkbuster fighting the Hulk during the Marvel: Building a Universe special.

I wonder if Tony built it for military use against the Hulk before he met Banner, and just forgot about it, which lets Ultron hack and take it over?

Previews for some of the Avengers' new costumes, Cap and Widow's in particular, make it look like the team is going to be getting official uniforms. I particularly really like Cap's new costume .
