Along with Shuumatsu no Valkyrie... I'm trying to find the sales numbers for Our last Crusade, because hopefully that can explain it.

I'm pretty surprised this is getting a sequel, but I'm very happy about it.

I mean, all the major Silver Link action fantasies or high profile shows last season got sequel announcements, save for this show, but it was also probably the least well-received by comparison which is why I wasn't so surprised they never announced anything, but here we are

.

I'm a fan of the books and I think the anime adaption was decent, so I'm okay with this

I'll admit that I didn't see this coming. Figured that would be a one and done type of show. But I'm actually ok with this

. It wasn't a bad show. There are definitely shows I'd push for sequels more, but this was a pretty enjoyable ride. Although I admit there were times I was left scratching my head at the lack of clear roadmaps from our lead characters towards their goals.

Sure, why not. I'll check out another season of this.

If I recall, it's the #3 Fujimi Fantasia series in terms of LN popularity, with the other two being Slayers and Date A Live.

I honestly never watched season one. I read the manga, got super interested in it so went to check the anime for more, only to realize the anime stopped about 2 chapter prior to where the manga translations ended. So definitely looking forward to seeing what happens from here.

Just saw the trailer and yeah...it looks like a significant downgrade. One thing this show had going for it was that the fights were pretty nice to look at. If they don't have that this might be a bit of a tough one
