This is true.

I met a really nice sheila at a party a few months back and one thing that got us talking was Fate/Stay Night.

I had my Saber Lily t-shirt on at the time and she just asked me 'is that Saber?' as I walked to get another drink.

We talked for ages and ages and had a lot of series we liked in common and shared some interests outside of anime.

Just as I was about to ask her if she was doing anything the next day her boyfriend rocked up to the party... And he doesn't even like anime!
