My gosh! This show hasn't even started yet and this thread has 59 pages! Expectations are pretty damn high ne? I hope JC Staff can satisfy all of us Little Busters fans.

Has it been mentioned how many episodes this will be? Possibly two seasons? The second being Refrain.

There aren't any announcement yet for number of episode or seasons or even airing season isn't confirmed yet.

To be honest I think it only really needs 2 cours at most. They could skip the non-Rin routes and lose absolutely nothing.

even without having played the vn, i feel one cour is pushing it. but than again they can do it and see how good the sales are, and just make the next season.

one coeur is highly unlikely it will be 2-3 coeurs most likely, given the information that has been leaked/said.

I would conservatively guess 30 K per volume, maybe more. I'm guessing they'll do as much as they think the source material can support - maybe three cours.

30k, and that's your conservative guess? Didn't Clannad sell around 20k? Is Little Busters that much more popular? I was always under the impression that Clannad was the more popular Key visual novel in Japan.

It might have to do with it that Clannad was an all ages VN while LB:ex was an eroge.

But they both had similar amount of sales, so it's hard to say which one is more popular

Between the original VN sale for LB and clannad LB is the one that sold the most

I think that per Key's twitter we can rule out 1 cour

That's bull. The audience needs at the very least the Komari and Anego routes for Refrain to have its full effect. On top of that, missing out the side routes and having the barebones story is a huge injustice to the work. I'm not even a fan of the Komari and Kud routes, but I'd damn well want to see them animated.
