to give images of rossweisse when volume 5 and 6 include her so little likely means that they will include volume 7 in the season as well. It's an appropriate move if they have future plans for the next arc.

Why just dont think this works as a promotional pick, since she is a main character later, why not introduce her now.

True she is technically introduced in briefly in 5 and 6 but she has too limited of a presence in 5 and 6 to stand out (I don't think they even gave her a name at that time from what I remember). Considering the future arcs though it does make sense if they are planning to fit in volume 7 in this season so they could solely focus on the arc that follows after in future seasons.

Say, I know this says no spoilers, but I was wondering if this season does follow the first arc, does that mean we will get to see some of the side stories from volume 8 and 13 of the light novel which are chronologically take place for the second arc?

Probably not. Every season after the first has no space for side stories. They'd be saved for OVAs probably (potentially excluding the end of volume 8 if BorN covers v5-6).

with the potential of going into volume 7 as well there isn't going to be much space for side stories.

There will only be 6 Volumes of BD/DVDs to be sold for BorN. So, expect 12 episodes this coming season.

I had mentioned that before it was announced lol. very happy that they are getting it in as an ova.

she had a short role in volume 5 but nothing really affecting the plot. They will get her in though.

Those who have watched the screening gave good reviews on the 1st episode of Season 3. Saying that with how it played out, there's nothing to worry with how things will go during the season.
