I will stick with it if they kick up the Over-The-Top antics to eleven. I don't care for Mozart being silly. I don't care for the drama surrounding selling or not an old house. But if I get more inanimate objects having a mecha dance-off at the tune of a rock arrangement of Beethoven, sign me up. Or even better, a music battle between Classicaloids. That'd be the stuff of dreams. What I need is an entire show's worth of the Nonon Jakuzure battle from Kill La Kill, basically.

The weirdness combined with action and comedy reminds me a lot of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, complete with giant frigging robots!
Biggest surprise for the season for me; I can't believe how much I enjoyed the entire show. Maybe even top 3 pilot of the cour?

Episode 2:
Well I have to admit, that was one hell of a party and a creative/ecchi way to present the cake LOL Pretty crazy episode again as I had expected. Mozart is slowly becoming my favorite character in the show, he's just so fun to watch with that personality of his.

This episode was a bit less crazy as the first, but it made me laugh nevertheless. Mozart is funny, and I loved the extended training sequence, especially how, by the end, Beethoven & Mozart lost sight of what exactly they were training for. The Musik scene was also pretty cute.
If I have any complaints so far it's that the music itself is just... not all that special, especially given the fanfare about what big names they got to "produce" music for the characters. Beethoven's producer is none other than Hotei Tomoyasu, one of my favorite JRock/JPop personalities who's composed some really awesome music during his career (this little no-name song, for example), and yet Beethoven's music itself is kind of meh. Mozart's producer is tofubeats so honestly I didn't expect much, and that's what I got - it's cute but not anything special. I hope it will be better for the other Musik-holder characters... Quote:
Also, before anyone complains about Mozart being "out of character" or anything, here's some background reading: http://www.humanitiesresource.com/ne...artletters.htm https://www.theguardian.com/books/20...iography.music https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leck_mich_im_Arsch https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bona_nox (Hell, just generally: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozart_and_scatology Obviously poop/fart jokes were more socially accepted back then as today, but still, haha.) So if anything, ClassicaLoid!Mozart is being toned down... |

Well, yeah, that's the point, he IS out of character. For being too tame .
I found the episode funnier than the first, but frankly the idol-like rendition of Ein kleine nachtmusic... EH. I preferred the first episode's 7th symphony arrangement. I wonder if we'll get one different Musik - and one differend ED - each episode. I really, REALLY look forward to Bach's if that's the case. I mean, he seems villainous or ominous at best so it HAS to be the Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. That's, like, the original boss music. In fact I'd say Orochimaru's Theme in Naruto was probably inspired by it in points.

Episode 2
So these guys are really retarded lol. They were using Souseke as a wrecking ball lol. And Mozart was really a pervert. Good to know. These guys do the Musik thing when they remember something from the past. And Mozart happened to remember that he got slapped by females in the past too. I wonder if he really did make an oppai cake at any point in his life. Also, Bach managing J pop idols was lol. |

That was some impressive lack of animation this episode. How many stills were there? And the music was a bit of a let down.
However it was funny. They seem to be going for the one sane person in a world of idiots and doing a pretty good job of it so far. |

They made the oppai cake:

Episode 3
Another crazy episode this week. However this time, Liszt (the blonde girl) caught my attention the most. That music video presented was also quite catchy with style. The way the music was conducted also gave me a feel of classical music. Very catchy. Liszt's green outfit also works surprising well imo. It's all about love! I hope she makes another highlight in the future, she's so fun to watch.

Episode 3
So there was a hidden tenant in the house who is Beethoven's gyoza fairy and Mozart's Don-chan. But he's actually Chopin who can't handle strangers well. And Souske had been chatting with him all this time. And Lisz-chan comes to find him and ends up finding Beethoven and Mozart too who all ran away from Bach's idol agency or whatever lol. And why did they have to turn Liszt into a female? Lol Mozart was jealous of those boobs. And now some dude is gonna come who claims to be Beethoven's kouhai or whatever. Gonna be a pain in his ass since that's exactly what he needs lol. |

This was another great episode! This show is so much fun. CryingDarkAngel, oh my god Sousuke! And Liszt's little puttos were amazing, especially how they came pretty much out of nowhere. XD
Chocchan is kind of cute and Liszt is really fun. (At first I was really confused over Chopin's name, but in the end he introduced himself with the proper pronunciation so I guess he was just using "chopin" as a screen handle/idol name/whatever.) The Musik music was also more inspired in this episode than in the previous ones, and they fit the show's tone really well. I hope we'll hear more of Chopin's Musik, since this time we got Liszt's as the ending. All things considered, though, CryingDarkAngel Sousuke continues to be my favorite! And in today's relatable scene: Mozart with the bouncy balls. Come on, who didn't do this as a kid? I also like that her normal outfit is red-white-green. I wonder if it's on purpose (probably is but it's anime so who knows). Well, as Liszt said, it doesn't really matter, does it. By the way, trivia but little Liszt did in fact meet Beethoven in person, a few years before the latter's death. |

Episode 4
So we have Schubert here who is searching for Beethoven-senpai. He travels all across the land in search of his senpai, making people literally act like babies on the way, making perfect gyoza on his first try, becoming a super suspicious guy, only to be unable to properly meet Beethoven when he ends up seeing him lol. I liked this retard. He hates Mozart because everyone used to call him a Mozart ripoff, but he admires Beethoven a little too much. One thing they showed here is that Beethoven and Mozart escaped from some big facility or something and were wearing full white clothesand were with some suited fellow. Schubert was surrounded by some weird containers or something and wasn't clothed at all I think. Someone is probably cloning these famous musicians and is sending them out for whatever purpose. Bach is probably running his agency either on orders of whoever is behind this or is doing so to keep all these freaks together in one place but is failing since they're all running away to do whatever. All these episodes are only introducing the retards in the cast while giving really tiny hints towards what's going on and stuff. Since this is a 2 cour show, it'll take some time before they really go into whatever plot they have in store for us, if they have any that is. |

Episode 5
Well that all confirms it.. This show really has a serious thing for gyoza. (it even got me hungry as I also really like the taste of gyoza) The music performance this episode was rather flashy as well. That twist at the end though.

I watched National Geographic's Homewrecker Penguin video just before watching this episode.
I now feel a tad freaked out with Beethoven's "Emperor"
