I just have to say I haven't laughed out loud at anything for a long time -- on the 2nd bit with ika train and ika buddha, I was rolling on the floor laughin!

The manga stated that the gun made it invisible. Dispelling the invisibility with another shot of the gun happened about a few pages or so after it went invisible.

so far we've seen that her "hat" and tentacles can move involuntarily, and are more talented/useful/intelligent than her human parts. maybe that's all there is to it, but i still can't shake off the notion that another organism is sitting on a girl's head making her think that she's a squid.

that doesn't explain how she produce ink though.

maybe i'm just over analyzing ika's origins, might as well stop and enjoy the show

Yeah, they never put much focus in Ika's different nature anyways (seriously, those baseball players are just A-OK seeing their opponent have tentacles as hairs and uses it to throw ball) so might as well just enjoy the comedy, the main focus of the show.

All that ika musume stuff gone...such a waste. Guess Sanae have to collect from square 1 again. Well she is a M anyway.

The baseball match is weird indeed. No one commented on her holding the bat and gloves with her tentacles.

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Spoiler for Shinryaku! 11 - It's a Bear, You're On Your Own: Great collection of episodes all around. The first segment, set against a backdrop of greys, was pretty creepy. That doll sets up camp in the uncanny valley and does not leave. Perfectly understandable that Ika would be terrified of it. The atmosphere was really well done. The second segment was probably my favorite, bringing Cindy and the three idiots into the spotlight once again. The suit once seen in Zettai Karen Children was nice, along with the camera fly and Martin's attempt at being a Chizuru fan. Just listening to those three speak makes me laugh, never mind what they attempt to do. For the third, no pseudo-supernatural stuff happening, just a simple mountain hiking trip. And more animals than your average Mark Trail strip. (But with less punching.) Ika arguing with her own echo was also funny. The bear did not have the ability to uppercut anyone, but that does not stop it being a godless killing machine. Great week.
