Neat!

The time, is that how long it has been since you changed your background or the time your computer has been on?

In the case about longevity, here is a picture of my old XP server when it was on for 29 days:

Spoiler for 29 Days:

You have to love a Mac. It always looks pretty on every shared screenshot.

For XP, you can either use the uxtheme.dll mod, in which it removes the Microsoft-only theme block so that you can use any .msstyle file. (free might I add)
OR
You can go the expensive way and buy either WindowBlinds or StyleXP

Those are the two ways that I know of. If you have Mac, you can buy InterFacelift.

also, you might want to check out WordPlay's site.

Back when I had windows, that would have killed my computer. That's an insane amount of programs to change your UI.
Right now all I have is the BricoPack and WindowBlinds 5.1 on my Windows XP BootCamp partition.

Sorry if I sounds harsh, but I just got finished with a half-hour argument on IRC about the security in Mac, Linux, and Windows.

Yeah it really kills your PC, when I use it on my old PC. but my current/new PC is stable my CPU process is 1-5% i never reach to 80-100% since im using a Intel C2D, and a 1GB ram

You mean ShapeShifter? I have a license for that (got it in a bundle with other, useful apps) and I don't use it.

IIRC it uses Application Enhancer which uses an InputManager thing to hook into all the running applications. Makes me nervous doing weird stuff that touches all running apps. Last time I had it installed it was making stuff crash all the time.

Damn that's a lot of programs to change the UI. I don't really mind how XP is to begin with.

Also, you can hide desktop icons and the taskbar without fancy programs .
