8 Chapters behind? A lot can happen in 8 Chapters... Unless you're Naruto or Bleach, they tend to draw things out.

The trend is the increasing distance between the chapters, since only the chapters they have left in the volumes will be translated from now (for what it seems) and riceballicious translates to your own pace, there is no Js06 between them..

ps: In chapter 57 of the raw, for some reason I found it funny Orsola riding a bus.

Anyone mind offering a briefing over how much time has past for the characters since the beginning to the current story or anything notable that has happened for Touma or Misaka Mikoto?

Current... Story? You mean the Anime, Manga or Light Novel?

If it's the latter... About 3 months have passed since the start.

As for notable... You need to be abit more specific.

Why? Because she had tried to get on a bus ever since the beginning ?

When I saw the picture automatically remembered the first appearance her and I slipped a slight smile, something like "You finally got your bus."

Manga and Light Novel. Anime has been over for awhile so there's really not that much up in the air to be confused over.

In that case... The Manga is currently up till the Remnant Arc, which is around early September.

The Light Novel is currently up till early to mid November.

To give some perspective about how much time has passed, the story started in mid to late August.

Eh... Not really... To put it in Anime terms-

Season 1 covers about half of August.
Season 2 covers the whole of September.
Season 3 would probably cover the whole of October.

New Testament starts in November.

There are occasional time skips but nothing more than 1-2 weeks max. Each volume covers no more than a day or two, some times even less than that- The book of law arc/ Imaginary District/ Italian Job all takes place in one night (or afternoon).

Which is my only real pet peeve with this series. It's really weird how so much happens in such a short time. The worst was probably the only 3 day time difference between NT3 and 4, where The Anti City Academy Science Guardians have time to buy a city, form together into a government, make a military, and then organize a worldwide tournament and get 3 million people to go to it (I think it was 3 million).

Hmm... Than I guess I was wrong than. Some told me that the current arc for the LN/Manga had made a big time jump and Touma and Index were adults now.

Well I don't mind since it's false. Would have been strange if they suddenly jump in age, especially for Misata since they seem to be using her clones for different ages for her. Didn't Miaska Worst say that there was another bundle on Clones coming out that she wasn't a part of? Adult Misaka's running around maybe? Speaking of Misaka, she sure gets a lot of love.

Naa..... there were suppose to be high school versions of Mikoto which they were called second series or WORST, which they are Level 4 versions with a nasty attitude.
Well that when down Sh*t creek when Accelerator told AC to get f*cked.
