So for example, does that mean Ragna's Blood Kain is no longer the input command it was in CT and CS, but has instead been moved to this Overdrive function? Sounds kind of like BlazBlue's take on X-Factor mode from MvC3.

And lol, simplifying the guard function to a simple guard break move. Dunno if that was called for or not, but it at least sounds easier to get a grasp of.

I'm rather curious about what changes they had on Haku for this installment. A new distortion would be nice. D:

If Bullet's move list is to be trusted, she's apparently a speedy grappler. And she has a super super with 2 followups with the total input of 720A>720D>1080D (2nd part requires "Heat Up", 3rd part costs extra meter). That's 2520 degrees of rotation, WHOA.

Makoto Story: Makoto has a strong soul and was able to survive interfacing with the boundary without seithr erosion (unlike Litchi and Arakune), her strong bonds with Noel and Tsubaki gave her an unyielding will. She was stuck briefly in an alternate timeline where Noel didn't exist and was rescued from it by Rachel. In her bad end, Relius mindrapes here.

Valkenhayn Story: Nothing new, Valkenhayn learns that Terumi has enslaved the ghost of what might be Nine, but we already knew that.

Platinum Story: Nothing new aside from the fact she's travelling with Bang.

Relius Story: Relius is looking for Kushinada's Lynchpin, which Bang might have. Also, not really new but it was the first time stated in the games. Relius is originally from a time before the Black beast appeared, 100 years prior to the games. When the Black Beast appeared, Relius fell into the cauldron and woke up 80 years later (20 years prior to the games).

In his story line, it is also reveal that the entire world, literally, is nothing but black goo. The world only appear they way it is right now because of Azure, the eyesight of Amaterasu. Which explains why when souls are invoked to produce Arc Enemies, they all look like black goo.

No kidding, but it doesn't help that his curse ability is getting prolonged in the next one because like Tager's magnetism it'll be a even more bigger pain to deal with.
