No the giant stone Tyreal destroyed was the World Stone. And I think Baal's was destroyed - I think. I don't remember and the Wikipedia doesn't even have a article on it...

Tyrael blew up the Worldstone. And then Mount Arreat blew up because of that. And then the barriers between heaven, the mortal realm, and hell weakened. So now the world is in a bigger shit than before.

I think.
Nah, Tyrael gave the mortal heroes group (horamdric or something) the soulstones to entrap the Prime Evils at the first place. So it should be weird if they die after their prisons were destroyed, no?

I think after the soulstones were destroyed, they were forced to come back to Hell. But after Tyrael destroyed the WorldStone, the barrier is weaken, and the Prime Evils can come back to mortal plane again. After all, what is the burning demon that was shown in the cinematic trailers if not Diablo tru form?

This is most probably a joke about the concept of "glass cannon" that spread in the battlenet community and on MMORPG's in general.

Old geezers with awesome hushing abilities -- next thing you know, there'll be lolis cooking zombies for breakfast (okay maybe not).

And after spending an hour and a half reading the lores, I finally understand the timeline of Diablo. I've used to been puzzled by why Deckard Cain and the "hero" acts so differently in the act trailers, though it finally struck me when reading Deckard Cain's journal that those two were Marius and the Wanderer all along.

I was hoping for a class that is hybrid, with the ability to use magic and weapons.

Something like the Necro or Assassin in D2. It is always fun to play a hybrid class because they are hard to level, and totally suck for the first 50-60 lvls.

Does a metric shit ton of damage but would get one shotted by the weakest attack, basically fire power of a cannon but as fragile as glass.

It usually means something or someone with high damage output but low defensive capabilities.

Yes that's it.

As you can see in this forum there are threads like this:

http://forums.diii.net/showthread.php?t=410663

that teach you how to make a "glass cannon" build.

In naval terms: The British "light" battlecruisers Glourious and Couragious would be considered glass cannons (15" guns...armor of a light cruiser).

glass cannon, would be a b52 bomber, devastatingly powerful in that era of aerial combat but due to its slow speeds made it very vulnerable and susceptible to attacks.
