School Days
Dragonball GT (only decency regarding this anime of variety was the music and bebi vegeta saga) Ladies vs Butlers Claymore (anime only) Sidenote-I don't think slayers is terrible it's just that it's massively overrated.

Ichigo 100%. I've only seen the first episode, and... ugh. It just pains me. The main character is terrible, no characters are believable in the slightest, and the premise is probably worse than Akikan's (and at least Akikan handled it in an amusing way). I'm generally a fan of the romance/comedy/fanservice genre, but never have I seen so many things done wrong in a single episode of a show.
Other than that, Shukufuku no Campanella was pretty damn bad. Not the Ichigo 100%, 'every character, word and scene is terrible' kind of bad, but more the 'bored to death from lack of a single interesting scene' kind. It's got all the excitement of a slice of life show, without any of the appeal of one. Oh, and DearS. That probably wins the 'tacky fetish fanservice' award (okay, we get the SM overtones, you don't need to make an Engrishy OP involving them), not to mention the general terrible-ness, and the character designs more disproportionate than the original Kanon. There are other fairly bad shows I've seen, but I won't include genres I hate. Besides, these are the only three to really get to that irredeemable, use-as-a-frisbee kind of level. "Kyon-kun denwa." I listened to that freaking line so many freaking times it's been engraved in my memory, I was almost going insane during endless eight. It was bad enough that they fired so much blanks in regard to the second season and they had to go and do endless eight to top it off, it becomes a bit hard to defend the "genius" of the show when they start going so far.
I still enjoy the story yes but I'll always tell people to skip endless eight cause it's in effect a useless troll. Maybe they wanted to be artsy, I don't know. All I know is they came out as being trollish and I can respect everyone who now hates the show because of it.

Idolm@ster Xenoglossia made by SUNRISE. God, this is the reason why they pissed some of the hardcore IM@S fans out there. I mean same characters but there's no Originality & it has nothing to do with the 360 game which it was based on.
And so it was Sora o Kakeru shoujo (Girl Who leapt through space) which it was completely worse due to their unexplainable story ever. I mean what were (Guy who brought us Mai HiME) they thinkin? I was almost got banned by their moderators due i've been bashing those 2 animes so much. |

Sora no Otoshimono - I absolutely despise the male lead, I don't like any of the supporting cast, the plot never goes anywhere, it tries WAY too hard when it comes to humor and the amount of ecchi makes me want to hit my head against the wall repeatedly.
Highschool of the Dead - Offers absolutely nothing new. It's just the same zombie-apocalypse survival story amongst many others only with a younger cast of characters and mindless fanservice. Seikon no Qwaser - All the female characters are bimbos, the male lead isn't interesting, has sucking on breasts as a freaking plot-device and all the pointless yuri makes me want to castrate the author. Kanokon - All this one is about is some fox-girl wanting to screw a young boy. How the hell can this be considered anything besides pornographic entertainment?

Well, considering it entertainment is kind of a stretch. Also, pornographic would imply it's sexually stimulating, which it really isn't. Molesting little boys isn't my cup of tea. It's just crap.

Finally my experience as anime fan for 11 years, all I can say is....Jigoku Shoujo is far worse than f*ckin' School Days. Yes SD is a piece of sh!t but it is God in comparison to JS. If SD is a sh!t then JS is a sewer treatment plant except it already out of order decades ago. Just imagine of how many pile of excrement inside that place. SD is a piece of excrement that going to rot away soon, as long as people stop talking about it.
Here's the comparison why JK is worse than SD: School Days: 1. Unpopular until the Nice Boat event 2. Had an actual plot despite being badly written 3. Only one season(thank God) and the second one will never see the light of day 4. Had better characters, at least better than JK 5. Not yet licensed outside Japan and probably never will 6. Not yet shown in Animax-Asia and hopefully never will 7. Its ending is kick-at-your-face except just once 8. Its fad is rather short-live and not going to be revived again Jigoku Shoujo: 1. Already popular even before it came out 2. Never had a plot. Just an-emo-of-the-week theme for every episode 3. Had 3 painful seasons with fourth one coming soon. 4. Except for Ai and her gang, all characters are designed to be hated at 5. All 3 of them has been licensed and blu-ray probably coming out soon 6. First two seasons already shown in Animax-Asia and there is an announcement that the third one will be shown in the future 7. Each episodes end with kick-in-your-face for 13 times. Add 26 times more for 2 more seasons 8. Already become a subculture for people who had no life(read: emos) and most likely to be revived again with fourth season Yes JK already reside in bottom of Hell in comparison to SD and for SD, don't get too cocky since you are better than JK. You still sucks as well. Last edited by Kameruka; 2011-06-16 at 06:07. |

B Gata H Kei is loved because it is funny. It is very crass but it is truly funny. As far as I can remember there is no nudity or panty shots though I remember about 3 scenes where you can see part of her breasts. I don't think it should be here. I tossed Amazing Nurse Nanako because after watching 3 episodes of a Comedy where I didn't laugh is a bad thing.

I'm not going to bother arguing with you, but I just find it funny that you apparently continued watching throughout three 26-episode seasons even though the first one was absolutely horrible to you.
Do you have a source for that season 4 confirmation, by the way? That would just make my day, but I'm guessing you just made it up.

For some reason I just knew this thread would crop up again after it was linked to in the pretentious topic. I know some people mean well to voice their frustrations, but can we avoid naming landmines where we can?
...Is this what happens during Summer, by any chance? I joined this site on 09 but only really became "active" within the past six months.

SD wasn't a 'Fad' nor was it 'unpopular' without 'Nice Boat'.
SD was VERY popular, because we wanted to see which girl dies. What we didn't expect was the whole 'head' thing. That was too freaky considering a school girl just decapitated her dad the week before. SD doesn't belong here either, but I will NEVER watch SD again. It was too 'real'

Suzumiya Haruhi.
First time, it was boring. After seeing so many positive opinions about the series, I decided to rewatch it in hopes of understanding what the hype was all about. Third time, I was literally just out of my effing mind. Pretty sure I was half way through on my fourth...thank god I was done with my summer job by then so I wasn't so damned bored during my lunch breaks.

Most ecchi shows are about ridiculous fanservice shots and convoluted situations leading to nudity, groping, etc. B Gata H Kei is about how teenagers are horny and sexually inept. The latter is a lot funnier to a lot of people (myself including), and the way B Gata H Kei goes about it kind of satirizes teenagers' false sexual bravado as well. I love B Gata along with Seitokai Yakuindomo, which also makes fun of how teens are horny and perverted but doesn't have quite a same satirical value because it concentrates strictly on how teens are sex obsessed and doesn't demonstrate the inept side as much.
