Didn't the interviews state Motoi is the one who extended this arc so long? wouldn't be surprised if that's one of the factors. Though I don't know much on what determines the pages of a chapter. Always thought Monthly = more.

Finally read Ch. 65. The only interesting part was Gensei's comments on Kamijou and Sogiita. So now we know for sure that Gensei adds a -kun to persons of interest to him.
Kuroko's part was disappointingly underwhelming. Though considering what it is being compared to (Misaka-Raijin WTF!!!), its not a surprise.

I don't know why, but I found the "I promise not to forget you for at least a week" line to be quite hilarious. About the Kuroko scenes…they're pretty underwhelming. Although, considering that they're not the main event, it makes sense. Although…Kouzaku and Gensei do need to be stopped before the Angel-koto transformation is complete. Honestly, I think it will look better on the tankoubons. The flow will feel better once that's released considering the pacing of the chapters. To think that after getting pierced in the arm, Kuroko will be fine enough after all is said and done to drop-kick Touma on the last day of the Daihaseisai...

It's funny, I had the same thought.
Accelerator Manga > than this arc. I'm sorry. If it has even any potential for another anime franchise, then it is so much better than this arc in railgun, which we already know will be eventually largely expanded on. Railgun is already solid, now Accelerator needs a solid start as well... This is just going to come out too slowly though... Now I think I'm slightly starting to realize how painful it must have been for the ones following this series from the very beginning... and am impressed... |

The Accelerator manga was something I dreamed about. I'm really curious how it will be like. Will it introduce only original arcs or will it also expand already existing ones.
Another Sister Arc but from Accelerator's perspective, anyone? Spoiler for Space conservation:
I don't remember if the prewiev was pre or post Sister Arc. I hope the author's drawing skill improves over time like was the case with the Index manga mangaka. It's not bad. I'm very tolerant in this regard but improvement is welcomed.

Chapter 66 spoilers are out.
The whole chapter is Misaki vs Gensei, with a small bit consisting of Mitori vs kuroko. Besides the fight (as in Gensei's multiskill vs Misaki's security) nothing interesting is happening. That's for the Christmas chapter, sigh. Last edited by relentlessflame; 2013-12-31 at 13:12. |
