Furuta is a Gintama fan. That makes me think a little better of him. I'm still looking forward to him dying in the worst way imaginable after everything he's done though.
It was such a great chapter for Urie. His character development is now complete, and what stellar development it was! He's grown so much as a human being over the course of the series. I'm glad he managed to tell Kuroiwa it wasn't his fault his dad died. It's just too bad Kuroiwa himself had to die 10 seconds later.

Urie really has grown from the little shit he was back when he was first introduced. Now he has properly found closure from his father's death and he was able to assure Kuriowa that he wasn't to blame for his father's death.

Lets hope he doesn't die. Or should we...for you know "plot motivation"? Then again allowing a piece of trash character to grow up finally only to die is a bit of a waste...then again it is a tragedy.
Urie: I got closure finally...I am a big boy now. Author: Ok time for you to die...your role is finished now...plus I need to make everyone around you sad. Bye Urie: Nuuu

Nakatmatta power or tragedy. I keep asking myself which way the author would make the story flow towards...I mean if no one dies it defeats a lot of the purpose of it being a tragedy. Especially if it was someone we (the audience) and characters cared about. i.e. Hide.
Spoiler for Rant/Food for thought:

There's no way Urie will die. His death here would be meaningless, especially after all this development. He needs to live so that he can reveal Furuta's treachery to everyone, and Kaneki needs all the allies he can get. In fact, out of all the characters in the series, I think he and Saiko are the most likely to survive to the very end.
He was joking about the manga ending.

Honestly killing Urie at this point without him actually achieving anything significant just reeks of needless edginess. Kuriowa dying makes sense as his character reached it's logical conclusion and there wasn't much else for him to do.
