Well for me it doesn’t look like him, the hair is a little different even if he has the jacket, why put him in shadow after the reveal?, and the other two not?, also in the opening zero is not at the end but hose two are, all point that they are other people in the world and maybe guild members of our mc, well at least I hope so.

let me see if i get it "right" basically the mc have the "character selection power" where he can change between different characters which does have they own "personality" which he can't control and just watch they acting, which means the woman doctor and some others characters displayed here are just "mc" others personalities, which we gonna see appearing in this serie, then mc can have a chance to also get a "male harem" lol???, he basically can get "multiple harems", like one for each of his "personas??? ar at last a girl/guy in love with him for each personality?

And the Dragonkin... is that supposed to be some kind of chuunibyou character? The way the Demon Lord reacted afterwards seemed to be typical post-chuuni trauma. Not that I think the Maou-sama is much better.

this is actually a pretty good series

BUT

I recommend reading the manga to understand alot of context that went missing in the anime

the episodes are poorly adapted (and animated) but the manga has a good artstyle

episode 3 was 10x better adapted in manga issue #4-5

this could be easily missed but the main protag of this series was actually the game designer of that mmorpg

it is why this guy has 'administrator' functions

his main character was Kunai, the Maou of the city's underworld

but his alt-character was Zero, who was sorta written as a gag to fool around with in his game world

so the 'player' in this sense is actually the villain of the series he wrote

he basically runs a syndicate

the two people you are referring to are two of his subordinates

one is a scientist, the other a hitman

----

another thing to note is the actions of Zero is actually independent of Kunai

it is one of the reasons he is so embarrassed by his counterpart because he acts like a typical shonen hero because Kunai cannot control Zero's actions

so when he character changes into Zero - Kunai is in limbo but he is still aware of what is occurring

Ok, saw chapter 4, I’m a little sad that doctor was an npc create by him, I was hoping for another player that know him from before, but now that she is “real” now she seems to have new feelings, it is just like nazarick of overlord, is good enough for me, I’ll see this to the end.

Poor Kunai. Going so overboard spanking Luna and now everyone thinks he has a thing for butts .

To be honest, while I think Luna looks really good in that school uniform, I think she stands out more like that then in her normal robes .

"Girlish Boy Yukikaze." So, uh...obviously he's a trap but is Yukikaze just delusional enough to think he's a girl or is he a boy who wants to be a girl? Author probably didn't think that through too much so I guess I won't either .

Kunai thinks Zero is bad? Did he see how he was talking to those wolves ?

At least Kunai is aware that one should be very careful when assessing a girls feelings .

So Kunai has eight assistants for his character that he developed in the game that he can summon with enough skill points. I'm guessing the series will over time build up to him gaining enough points to summon them all...although I wonder how long before we get to Mr. Marksman .

Yu Kirino is a cool and emotionless doctor type, until her thing for young boys comes in and her sadism starts to show, but it looks like interacting with the human Kunai and receiving some affection for the first time in her life as an AI is starting to develop new kind of feelings she wasn't programmed with...

That scene at the end with Kunai and a healed Aku walking together was really sweet, and it seems Aku has fallen for the supposed Demon Lord whose done so much for her .
