Woo just got the Atlus email announcing the localized version of Persona 4: Golden!

Finally! I knew it was coming, but finally seeing that email is nice . Obviously no solid date, but given Fall 2012 as its window.

T to the I to the D, B, I, T! Tidbit time! This time it's pretty much entirely devoted to Rise's new support abilties.

Rise can now learn a skill called "Cheer Up" that will slightly buff All Out Attacks, how it works exactly though I cannot say:



She also can learn another skill called "Rise Check", which will analyze enemies right when a battle starts, which means you won't have to experiment by attacking with different spells and such anymore:



She also has the ability to help up Yu if he's knocked down now. It's unknown if she'll assist other party members as well, but it's likely this skill is limited to one use per battle:



Finally, Rise's new Persona is named Kouzeon. It has the appearance of a telescope with a solar system circling around it:



Finally, unrelated to Rise, there is a new bug catching minigame at the shrine. They can be used as bait in fishing, but any other purposes they may serve have not been shared as of yet:

Like the Rise changes for this. Having her show up with that "Cheer up" skill will let it feel like she's more part of the fight. Even if the ability to help out when knocked down is only for Yu (which would be kind of fitting) that's a pretty handy ability. Think I like this most of all the persona changes. The telescope is actually pretty nice and think think the solar system thing is funny. She is an idol after all, have to be at the center of the solar system .

Considering that the rescue xxx achievements is unlocked during the story mode, it could be that rescuing Marie is also somewhat connected to the main storyline progress. Of course, they could also makes it optional by something like "defeat Margaret" to rescue her I wonder if this means that she will also has shadow like the other characters..

I always thought that P4 don't have Canon pairing .But i have to agree with you with this one.
