I really suggest RahXephon and Eva like the others. theyre both real brain wrackers... me and a couple friends used to sit at dennys or sumplace drinking coffee with a pack or two of cigarrettes discussing and guess what we ended up with. nothing. well something but i dont want to spoil it for u guys who want to do the thinking for yourselves hehe. (really...) its really digs deep into your mind and it will cause you to think. if you havent seen it yet i recommend buying the series. hey thers always ebay or the other sites on the animesuki homepage

.hack//Sign: The plot really isn't all that complicated but not too obvious either.. however, it'll take quite a few brain cells to figure out what the characters are up to.

If you want something that is largely open to interpretation, watch Cat Soup.
