need funny anime!!!
hay guys i need help...my exams are ending soon and ill be having about 3 months of summer holiday during which i would hope to watch anime until i die
 anime marathon yay!!!anyways does anyone have any recomendations for an anime that would literally make me cry with laughter? currently im watching Suzumiya Haruhi no Yutsu and i just cnt get enough of kyon's witty comments... i love comedy anime and i know that there are soo many out there...but i want you guys to pick the best of the best and your opinions ^^ hopefully ill still be laughing on my grave (when my grades come back and my mum kills me) thx in advance...

Excel Saga-A wacky anime, very looney tune-ish(very spontaneous).
Genshiken-A comedy about a anime/manga/game club in a university. Golden Boy-A man travels around getting jobs and getting into some funny situations. Great Teacher Onizuka-One of the funniest anime and has a great storyline. School Rumble- Just like the title suggests, it takes place in school and is very funny. Pani Poni Dash- A crazy school life comedy show parodying alot of different stuff. Full Metal Panic Fumoffu is my favorite comedy show of all time. I would watch the first Full Metal Panic but that's just my opinion(You get to see how Sagara ends up in a school in Japan and stuff like that). |

Ebichu - high sexual (comedic) content.
Jungle wa itsumo Hale nochi Guu - original+deluxe series is licensed, final is still available here. 2x2 Shinobuden - Ninjas with a very hilarious yellow shapeshifting\talking ball. Not sure if its licensed though. Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro Chan - loli angels. Lots of blood and guts. Magipoka - Cute, loli-ish characters. Episodes are very random. Azumanga Daioh - It hasn't been mentioned yet so... yeah. It's also licensed. Yakitate Japan - Its about bread. There's about 62-something subbed eps. so far. |

Cromartie High School...How does this not make the list?? Am I the only one who coughed up blood watching this thing?? Freddie Mercury as an alien clone XD, Mechazawa the robot boy who doesn't know he's a robot, the gorilla who teaches life lessons thru cooking and we haven't even mentioned the students who are insane by their own right...The opening theme song is so dope too...If you want to watch straight up ridiculous comedy that's essentially a show about nothing where the nothing is hilarious you can't go wrong with this one X)...

Funny anime
I third with yakitate japan - often has some cross over from other anime like naruto and one piece cooking master boy- it also has some exagerated theme similar with yakitate and its about chinese cuisine cooking adventure Gintama - currently ongoing and its hilarious. Karin - about vampire that nose-bleed kage kara mamoru - ninja show but different with naruto chobits - comedy romance scifi |

Actually, I watched Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu even though I hadn't watched Full Metal Panic, and I still thought it was funny and great, so you don't really have to watch the original to get it. Fumoffu is hilarious
 I thought the other 2 seasons were boring, though (I tried to watch them after I fell in love with Fumoffu, but didn't like either).And seconding the vote for Gintama. Whoever wrote that thing is on crack. A wise quote from Gintama: "There is an exception to every rule. That exception is MAYONNAISE!" And I would suggest Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, but the dub is awful compared to the original (but the dub still has its moments). Doubt they'll ever release subbed/uncut versions on US DVD... -_- Still, it's an awesome "wtf-worthy" comedy. Example of Bobobo humor: Enemy: "AHAHA, IF YOU LOOK INTO MY MEDUSA EYES YOU WILL TURN INTO STONE!!" Bobobo: "AAGGHHH, I TURNED INTO A CARROT!!!" Enemy: "?!!?!? That's not supposed to happen .. " Bobobo: "AAGGHHH, I TURNED INTO CABBAGE!!! (dramatic spotlight, crying, pounding fist against ground) I WANTED TO BE LETTUCE !!! " It's really... "special". The manga is great, too... |
