Been rewatching that scene with Manami and the lap pillow... so adorable and hilarious and both of them are kind of idiots... I dunno man, that scene at least was more "There's No Way My Childhood Friend Can Be This Cute"...

And since I doubt you've been to every part of Asia, I believe you can hardly say "all Asian cities". In fact, I've been to stores/restaurant/cafes in some Asian cities, and I definitely didn't encounter the need to shout around. Quote:
Of course, I am not my parents, so I can't speak for them, but I believe they aren't just "they just didn't want to get on you ass and want to give you a little bit of freedom" and all of the other stuff you are saying parents are. Then again, I'm sure you know more about my parents than me and are not generalizing parents. (obvious sarcasm) As for the "how many" thing... I don't know (as I'm not the type to actually try and find out), of course, but I know I am one. And the fact "everyone" is doing it doesn't make any of it right or allowable. Haha, I can imagine someone trying to tell me I should let my children ignore everything else and just do something because "no one else" cares about the law or whatever and does it... Oh the chills.

Never expected for Kirino's hobby to be revealed to her parents so quickly, btw.

That's what they are for. My motto is now "Working for the happiness of graphic designing as much as my skills for Anime Suki forums." Pretty much. Not always the best compared to some other people doing these here but trying my best at least. Quote:

http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2010/1...-pantsu-anime/ BTW kind of sad they generalized the anime as pantsu with one scene only....it does not make it like that at all. In fact I don't think it has become enough even for a ecchi classification yet. Beach or pool episode will be most likely ecchi luscious if it happens. Agree, it'll make great omake bonuses for DVD. Quote:
True, I haven't been to all the cities, but I've been to enough and live there enough to find that is more of norm than anything. While I agree with your view on underage thing and applauded you for being one of the EXTREME RARE exception, but really, what can parents do? What can you do? you can forbid the behavior all you want, they'll just be more willing to break them and try harder to hide it from you. If you find cigarettes or alcohol in your kids' room what can you do? They already proved to you they can find a way to get those stuff? Ground them? You can ground them until they're 18, hell even move with them to college but what 'll happen? I guarantee you they'll get more messed up instead. Then what? you'll drag your kids to the police and have them arrest on juvi-charges? Besides, I'm in the camp that education is more important than forbidden. U.S. used to outlaw alcohol and what happen? alcohol related crimes went up. Speakeasy become the rage, and the government was forced to lift the ban. U.S. drinking age is 21, yet compare to most other countries with lower drinking age, our alcohol-induced crime rate were higher. Besides, its not illegal to sell R-18 porn stuff to minor in Japan. (or in US for that matter, depend on states) R-18 is like ESRB and movie rating that are self-regulated system, most large stores won't do it, and all store put up signs to pass inspections, but it's not illegal. Compare to Eroge and porn, under-age sex and drinking is breaking law, but you musty have seen or heard the statistic some time during your school life to know that majority are breaking them. I didn't have a sip of alcohol until 18 when I was in Taiwan and being forced by uncles, aunts, and other family members, and since then I've drank responsibly. I didn't break Taiwanese law, but it is against U.S. law, so tell me what is ethical and moral? Just as a side note, when I was a kid before moved to US, there were tons of time my family members will offer a sip of alcohol during family dinners and my family is actually a fairly-well known old-tradition clan in Taiwan and that didn't stop old relatives offering alcohol to underage and prevent my family from filled with people with high education from prestige school. Besides, in Japan, not all alcoholic beverage is banned, sweet wine can be offered to minors and TONS of Asian dish have strong alcohol mixed in them and underage drinking is not strictly enforce, they'll take them back to station, yelling and counseling a bit, give them a warning, and that is that.... The way this anime is portrait, it is very close of real-live scenario. You can be more uptight, and you family being more strict, but that's not how majority of the world is. I learned it the hard way because of not drinking during high school and that cost me quite a few social opportunities to hang out with my friend or going out with girls.

I just watch episode 3 and even I'm expecting it watching it in the anime is different. Plus Kyousuke evolve from a normal person into an Otaku.
They even add choices!!! hahaha When" Kyousuke said what kind of flag is this" clearly says his not your ordinary man anymore.
