IMO Railgun shouldn't have been spliced with the Index subforum since half the people here are h8ers. Here I am giddy as hell with the announcement but half the commenters are all "why more Railgun, that moeblob show (which it most definitely isn't)". But whatever floats your boat I guess. . .

H8ers goin' h8. But as what Chaos2Frozen has already mentioned, we should all just drop the issue (anyway I'm sure more Index is planned given how immensely popular this franchise is).

There is a difference. While yes, it is nice to see a series you like get a movie. I'd rather a season of an anime than 1.5 hrs of it. ESPECIALLY when s3 is supposed to be when Index actually got good. Dat Kakine.

At first I'm certain it'll be Fall again as usual, but now that I think about it the announcement was uncharacteristically early so Spring might not be out if the question as that's the only other season JC Staff would do 2 cours plus it would line-up with OreImo 2 as well.

Wouldn't it be crazy if we have Railgun in the spring follow up by Index in Fall

I for one am happy at this news. I always did prefer Railgun over Index, and given that Index already has an S2 it's really not an unfair deal.

Waiting for Railgun S2 for me now is just like waiting for another Index season. I still treat the other "franchise" as one and the same with its parent.

So I think everything is in order, and JC Staff is right this time to make a Railgun 2 first. I really think naysayers must know this.

If you just want very good production value, awesomely executed fight scenes and at the same time get a new season before your grand children's birth, better hope for something like Production IG or Bones (maybe) ... I don't think it's gonna happen that easily though currently throwing coins in a fountain
