Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess was my first crush I'd have to say. Still looking for that perfect girl like her in real life.....
Ah! My Goddess was my very first anime I ever watched and I was immediately hooked. Maybe it was a little combination of how Keiichi reminds me of myself (the similarities are almost to close in fact LOL) that I found Belldandy to be so wonderful. If she could like a guy like Keiichi, that gives me hope! I still have a soft spot for Belldandy, but for now I totally hooked on Horo from Spice and Wolf. She is clever, witty and I wish sometimes I could be Lawrence. Maybe when Holodecks are invented...... Sorry....I'm such a otaku/trekkie! Yes they do exist. I am proof! |

Without a doubt, Aino Minako/Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon. To the point that her particular hairstyle (was it called the 'princess hairstyle'? long hair down but side bangs tied back) becomes THE hairstyle as my preference for girls, even IRL.
Main reason why I got back to anime was because after my hiatus from anime, they started airing Gundam Wing in my area. And lo and behold, you have Relena Peacecraft who sports similar hairstyle as Minako lol. Oh yeah, now that its been mentioned, I think even the Oversized Ribbon, as rare as it is IRL, is still one of the things I find attractive in anime. Again, also because of Mina-chan <3. While you're at it, maybe it's also the reason why I prefer serafuku over blazer uniforms on girls. How's that for a first crush?

First anime crush? Etna from Disgaea! Many other crushes followed, the most recent being Rika and Satoko from the Higurashi series. I'm going to hell.
Still waiting for someone to admit making love to an anime blow up doll version of his/her crush.

A little late weighing in on this, but...

<---- Notice my "location"? As much as I love her, I can't claim Belldandy for my "first crush." That honor goes to Sakura Shinguji of Sakura Taisen (Sakura Wars). Another character created by the same designer of Belldandy, Fujishima Kousuke. A bit awkward and clumsy at times, but she's got a kind, sincere and gentle heart that makes her absolutely adorable. She will forever be the one and only real Sakura in my eyes.
