Ever since Seed, I've had this dislike for pink-haired characters (especially those after Athrun, typical Asucaga reaction, haha) but when I saw Sheryl, I fell in love at first sight. Considering she had pink hair, all I thought was -- she was awesome and she had the right shade of pink =D! I just couldn't hate her, she was the exception to the rule.

Oh and I vote for the Queen and the Hime.

What's with the Sheryl love? Not bashing or anything, I'm just curious. Her character isn't anything new, pretty stereotypical, and her design is really strange. (Come on, you can't deny that she has a manface 90% of the time)

Oh, excuse me for thinking just one person would be able to reply with an answer. I had a quick look through random pages of the topic before I posted but didn't find anything beyond "she's really cool" and I didn't feel like looking through the other ~40 pages.

She does. I have no problem with unnatural hair colors but when anime characters' hair start behaving like ears it just gets silly. Frontier overall just had... Special character designs.

I believe 'Character Discussion - Sheryl Nome' thread has 105 pages. You can find many opinions there as well. If you look through properly, you'll find how people changed their opinions based on what was shown in the series. There were many, many great posts made there and I'm certain you'll be able to find one or two of them.
