The girl in yellow is actually based from SSZU (http://blackrockshooter.wikia.com/wiki/Shizu) from the soon-to-be-released. BRS game.
Sadly, the official videos about the BRS game have too much spoilers already. Most notably the revealing of White Rock Shooter's final form and a full fight video on Azuma, one of the apostles. I had thoughts about a BRS TV series since early last year because it is inevitable. Since GSC (Good Smile Company) practically owns the franchise, nothing about it is a surprise anymore. They can just chuck out as much BRS-related media at any time. I'd rather not hype about this show. Despite being a BRS fan, I'm not expecting too much from it (story-wise particularly), seeing that it is just part of a market-driven war machine. Though I appreciate a lot of titles, including the senseless comedic ones, I am more interested in story than pretty. visuals. The announcement of this anime will build up a hype of biblical proportions just like what the OVA and game did years back. Good stories take a lot of time to make. I am saying this because I am never biased on the things I like. I criticize them too. I'd rather stay honest than to make things up. And yes, there is no need to expect or hope for any merchandise (Toys particularly) coming because they'll be coming anyway whether you like it or you like it! |

Considering the number of characters Huke has made for the BRS world and how nice they look, I just want to see that artstyle animated on TV. I am interested in pretty visuals. The problem with the OVA wasn't just the plot, it was also that barely any of Huke's designs made it onto TV anyway.
I don't see what's stopping them from animating the rest of Huke's characters. If BRS herself sells well, then the other characters could be used in merchandising as well. |

Actually, now that I've played the game, Maaya Sakamoto's voice suits BRS perfectly. Keep in mind the BRS in The Game is a completely different character from the OVA. In The Game, she's not the fierce willful badass people expected her to be.

The thing is that the promotional poster seems to indicate the universe will be much more in line with the OVA/original art one. And in that case, it really doesn't match that version.

I must say I'm pretty excited about this, but I don't want to keep my hopes too high or I might get disappointed, as what happened with the game. [Not that I don't like it, but I expected so much more xD]
Anyways, this BRS looks more badass than it's game counterpart, so I hope they bring Hanazawa back <3 Or make Sakamoto do a more deep voice for her o.o Oh, and I also wonder if Beast BRS or Insane BRS will appear *-* Last edited by Kimera_Kuroaki; 2011-08-29 at 21:48. |

Ehhh, no, most likely not. That PV has been floating around since the announcement and it most likely just shows that no animation is ready to be shown as of yet. I can hardly imagine a remake airing on noitaminA...
