It's amazing that those who read the manga/watched the movie could still enjoy the anime so much. Frankly, although I love the story, and the anime is doing pretty good, getting around to it for the 3rd time isn't as fun and excited as I thought it would be. (>o<)

Hoping for at least 2 seasons of this anyway.

5-6% range is an awesome achievment for a show like Nana.

And anyway, the cutoff point is 6.3 again, almost the same as last week. Episode 3 didn't seem to be any worse than 2, so I predict something in the mid-to-high 5% range.

Although, it's possible that those who hated Nana K in ep. 2 turned off last week, so it could be lower. We'll see.

Episode 04 Screencaps and Summary

The transition between the two stories wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. The Komatsu Nana story ended fairly quickly and it switched to the Oosaki Nana story. This episode ended with Ren telling Nana that he's going to Tokyo, which I found to be a pretty good stopping point. The sex between Ren and Nana is tastefully done, though I was surprised that there was a little bit of nudity on Nana's part at the end. The episode pretty much follows the manga, but you do get to hear a Blast song at the beginning of Oosaki Nana's story. It was nicely done and ended up being the highlight of the episode for me.

That Vivienne Westwood heart dress on Nana O in episode 4 looked pretty good. 8)

Cant wait to see Oosaki Nana side of the story cause i really like her, it doesnt seem like the transition from one storyl to the other is that bad. I agree with some others i really like Jun-Chan i am disappointed to hear that she wont be seen that much in later episodes.

i've been a fan of LE subs for a while now, but the conversatoins in this thread sparked me to check out ureshii for a personal comparison. as for the translations.. close enough to not be really noticable unless you intentionally do a line by line. except for the engrish in the songs as previous mentioned. i'm in love with the supersized h.264 version from ureshii though, just for the video resolution.. that looks so kick ass on my big screen. didn't expect that from a TV rip

I really loved the manga and admit my hopes were really high for the anime. I am not disappointed with it at all so far. I feel like Episode 4 gave us a nice look at the Nano O backstory, even if the transition between the two was a bit sudden.

I was a bit nervous about how the songs were going to be done. While the song in Ep 4, while it does have some quirks, was a pleasant surprise for me. I really like the OP and ED. (ED more than the OP for me actually.) Unless things turn for the worst, I will definately be looking for this sound track.

I didnt think the transition was that bad it followed the manga ending with stars and starting with snow. Misato was so cute pushing that nana look-a-like girl out of the way lol and when she fainted after the kiss.

The transition between flash backs are pretty abrupt. But I guess it's ok, they probably want to give us the background story in quickly. It'll be interesting to see if Nana (Hachi) will be in Nana's band. (I didn't read the manga, so I really don't know)

It could be just episode 1.

They did that for Slam Dunk, it was like $10 and came with a free giveaway. It's like those 1 episode mini DVDs AVD tried selling for a while.

That'd make sense, but it must be über-cheap packaging then - Haibane Renmei V1 was a single episode but three times the price.

(Not that I'm complaining, because no-one in their right mind would say R2s are reasonably priced. It's just surprising, is all.)
