BWAHAHAHAHAH! OH HO HO HO HO! IT IS A LIGER! Wait until it makes its appearance in the manga! Oh HO HO. *save image*

(all the rest of you have no idea what is going on because of Sassarai and chiba's inside joke so I will explain). For all of you who have been wondering in the deepest reaches of your heart, "do hybrids really become more powerful than the previous breeds?" The LIGER is your answer and that answer is YES. The liger is a Lion X Tiger with all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses! It can climb trees, it can swim, it is TWICE the size of a lion or a tiger. If they got into the wild they would probably take over the world. Good thing most of them cannot reproduce. So yes, hybrids can be more powerful.

Yeah, they are big, but they are more like an abomination...

And they aren't stronger than their breeds. They are just bigger. Actually, in most of the cases, they are unhealthy an highly susceptible to die young. And sterile.

They are like the Male Claymores, a totally failed experiment.

I'm not sure if the breeding of Liger's or Tions was ever intentional or not. I guess there's only one place in the world today where it could happen in the wild, but it's unclear if it actually occurs. Also it may be possible for a male Liger to breed with a female for one of it's parent races, but I don't remember witch.
If you want a really successful hybrid check out the Wolphin.

ok a Wolphin isn't realy a great exampal for this a wolphin is not stronger then its parents and it's young only have a one in 3 chance of living so i would say another male claymore but plez do not talk about this any more people thank you
