I think it has something to do with promoting the show while trying to simultaneously confuse users into thinking only one person is posting in the thread if they don't pay attention to the usernames.
It's going to be sad to see this show end. My only saving grace is that Oofuri season 2 will be starting immediately as Cross Game ends.

Well, the so called Cross Game week will only last till next Sunday, so if you can hold out for 2 more days it'd be appreciated. It'd be also appreciated if more people joined this little campaign, I would have imagined that more people in this thread would join.

I can't say much since you guys haven't watched yet. But... Can I say something??? Spoiler for ahem....:
Kou-chan is one of the best male leads I've seen so far. His GAR level ties with Gin-san from Gintama. Man.. No cross game next week... there's something missing in my life!!!!

Very nice final ep, very close to the original material. Good pacing and a lot of production value. At least rushing so much stuff in ep49 had one positive effect. The soundtrack was fantastic from the first minute to the last. I wonder if we'll get an OST.
I don't know what to think of the anime crew dropping the late Mizuki subplot from the manga (won't go into details for those who want to read it). It was far from necessary but it gave him a bit more value as a character. Still not a major loss. @Tri-ring: not that much. Or at least for me, it did not change a thing. However the credits roll was a nice touch. Very glad to have been part of this ride, and to have joined AnimeSuki because of this series. I hope Adachi starts something new soon, or that Q&A begins to pick up the pace. You might see me hanging around a few new series discussions, especially Giant Killing. Please give Hōrō Musuko a chance! It's a mighty fine manga, by the new queen of coming-of-age romance. Not as light-hearted as Adachi, though. It's getting an anime adaptation next season, too. |
