Fan Fiction: The Wave Of The Future?
Why Fan Fiction Is The Future of Publishing:
"Not long ago, fan fiction was considered by the publishing world as little more than the literary equivalent of an annoying copycat little brother. But what was once viewed as either uncreative, a legal morass of copyright issues, or both, is now seen as a potential savior for a publishing industry still finding its moorings in the age of digital media." See: http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...n-fiction.html Does this mean that Fan Fiction is stepping out of the shadows and into the mainstream limelight? |

Like said before 50 shades was actually Twilight fanfiction that enough people liked to warrant it getting official sponsors. If it wasn't for that, then it would have had to work extra hard for its limelight. Like the author spending a lot of money to maybe illustrate it or something. With enough money, anything can be made to become something "official".
