I think it's safe to assume that, if Ao was a bodyguard for Danzou, he must have a considerable talent, but also considerable experience. I simply suggested that a Hyuuga with equal talent/experience would have better control of the Byakugan, simply because it is their bloodline from which the eye spawned.

Yeah, Danzou has loads of plot armor. We still have to see what he wants with Kabuto and there needs to be a real confrontation with Sasuke. Ao is just the Mizukage's attendant. The best thing that can happen to him is that Danzou manages to give him the slip. If Danzou decides to fight, things don't look good for Ao

Right. I meant he seems good in so far that his Byakugan hasn't shown any limitations that a normal Byakugan doesn't have yet. But he only has one eye so I'm assuming his field of vision isn't 360 and he probably can't see tenketsu since only the most elite Hyuuga can do that.

Well this post is fairly old now lol, but anyways just to put somethings in perspective....

In the third Databook it mentions that Hinata's potential had been down graded due to her believing that being the Huga's heir is a burden, but the databook mentions that "there is no doubting her potential, dormant ability!" Her stats are not extremely high, but her intellegence is higher than Nejis and looks to be slightl higher than Sasuke. Neji according to the Databook wants to fight Naruto and the other teams are going after Sasuke so it could happen that Neji fights Naruto again or since the other teams are going after Sasuke he could end up fighting Sasuke eventually. Sasuke according to the data book doesn't like to kill unless nec.

stats for each character:

Hinata: ninjutsu: 3, taijutsu: 3.5/3.6, genjutsu: 2.5, intellegence: 3.6/3.7 (looks slightly over the halfway mark but cant tell), strength: 1.5/1.6, speed: 2.6/2.7 (def. looks higher than the line for her genjutsu), stamina: 2, seals: 3

Neji: Neji also had points that seemed to go slightly past the halfway point, but not reach the line, but here's the estimate I got.
Ninjutsu: 4, Taijutsu: 4.5/4.6, Genjutsu: 1.9, Intellegence: 3, Strength: 2.5/2.6,
speed: 4.6/4.7 (it does look past the half way point and it looks closer to 4.7), stamina: 3.5, seals: 3,

Saskue: Ninjutsu: 5, taijutsu: 3.5, genjustu: 4, intellegence: 3.5. strength: 3.5, speed: 4.5/4.6, stamina: 3.5, seals: 4

It needs to be noted that a low genjutsu score only refers to their ability to perform genjutsu...so Sasuke's ability to break out of a genjutsu for example may very well be a 5, but his ability to perform it is only a 4...

Anyways looking at this (most people estimate the 4th databook to be out by 2011 so things will change) one would assume that Neji has the best potential for a byakugan vs sharingan battle, but based on what the data book says and maybe I'm going to hear a lot of criticism I think Hinata actually has the most potential for a byakugan vs sharingan battle...

Is it posible that if a person has EMS and takes another EMS from someonelse? Wouldnt that be called something like divine sharingan. What will byakugan users do than.

Haven't seen it so far, but yes, I would think that there would be efferent forms of the Byakugan.

well I suppose a person could technically consider a byakugan that can see the tenketsu points to be a second form of byakugan...

Suppose a sharingan user was to be hit with that, all of his chakra points were to be blocked, then, no more chakra, no more sharingan. Victory for byakugan. Unless the person somehow finds a way to unblock them like naruto did.
