I think there's another reason Okarin keeps Mayuri by his side beyond the not letting her out of my sight problem. If he sends her away from him, how would he even know if she died or not.

Judging by 1 episode only zzz(because i havent ask my bro to watch together), Mayuri get shot in episode 12 is because she was not useful. So bring that over, Mayuri must become useful to SERN(after that not my range of arguement) |

Also the last sentence doesn't make any sense. When did he decide that? Even if he decided that, he's already using time leap. Besides, his best friend died, would he really care about preserving the past so much that he would not change it once more with a d-mail to save Mayuri? I doubt.

As long as Okarin is only time leaping, it's too late to make Mayuri useful to SERN. He can only time leap back 48 hours maximum. I'm sure SERN had already decided she was useless before then. Now if he uses D-mail to send a message further back, then there could be enough time to make Mayuri useful to SERN. But I 't think Okarin is too emotionally upset right now to think things through that rationally.

It's not that serious, it's just annoying. You probably got infracted for a different reason (VN Spoiler?). Posting Episode 13 details in a thread for Ep13 needs no spoiler tags lol.
As for your question ; If you made it so that the microwave was never built, how would SERN be aware of Okarin and his '' power '' - if it can be called that. Anyway, I don't see a reason for Mayuri to die. Not if they send the dmail, but not in the current timeline either. It's not like she's a threat to them or something.

Okarin needs to get to the bottom of the problem, which seems to be that the universe wants Mayuri dead. Guess the universe can't handle this much moe.

The ONLY instance where you can discuss source material in an adaptation is when comparing the two as it pertains to events that have already happened in both. However also be prepared to acknowledge that just because it didn't happen in the adaptation that doesn't mean it won't happen. Sometimes studios will skip around events and mix them up. So in case it wasn't clear....always be mindful of spoilers.
