FMP! OVA in May 26th

The Second Raid official website has updated with details about the new FullMetal Panic! OVA I covered earlier - and it sounds pretty pointless to me.

According to Anime News Network’s translation, the 30-minute episode will follow “a day in the life of Teresa Testarossa”, which suggests it’ll be entirely extraneous to the plot and will have plenty of fan-service. It might surprise me though, and be a side story to Second Raid, which could be very interesting.

Update: It’s unlikely, judging by the promo image on the FMP! site, that this is a Second Raid side-story. Looks like this OVA is for anyone who was displeased with the low fanservice count in the TSR TV series.

I wonder if we will see much of Kaname in this.
Since Sousuke is the main character, its hard to imagine he won't be prominant.

What do you guys think?

this OVA revloves around tessa's life. soo we might not see alot of sousuke and kaname

True, but its hard to imagine given their realtionship fan base. Or maybe I'm making an assumption? How is it in Japan?

Although I will be a little disappointed with lack of KxS, I still will be super excited to get some new FMP material!

I suspect 'the couple' is popular in Japan as well.

However, since this OVA is revolving around Tessa and is presumably based on a short story, I don't think that they'll feature prominently.
I think it will be more like guest appearances, if at all.

Kaname and Sousuke got a prime spot in the previous three series. Now it's time for Tessa to shine.

Besides, in a few years time we might get another FMP series focussing again on Kana-chan and her beloved Sgt.

i hope they make tessa a bit more grown up and sexier although they did exaggerated with the size of her boobs ! at this age! but i guess its good for the ratings

in any case i hope all the stars show up in this OVA it will sure make me happy

wow...it's so nice to hear of new anime stuff for fmp...i've been longing for more after repeatedly watchin FMP and TSR...

it'd be great to reveal more about Tessa...in fact i'd like to know more about her brother...

lastly, hope that there'd be a third raid soon...

there is plenty of moeeeee moeeeeee anime out there but there is only action/mecha/post-cold war era anime like FMP!..don't ruin my only reason to live for please

I thought I was the only one who noticed that Tessa's boobs became slightly prominent.

I don't mind waiting for FMP, so far they blew me away with how they handle the series, the wait will be worth it if they can pull off another TSR, given that FMP has enough material and the story is great, it is all up to the animation to give it life.

I hope when TSR gets licensed, they'll include this OVA in the set, it would be a bother to buy a DVD for a 30 minute episode.

What are you smoking? Low Fan Service count? Lets see, Episode 2 with Naked Twins , Episode 4 (I think) with Twins in a Chinese dress and of course the Kaname in a love hotel episode.

Low Fan Service count? Bah!

But more Tessa is good. I think KJ1980 said that it would probably not feature Kaname at all and might not even have Sousuke. But lots of the others such as Melissa and Kurtz.
