I looked and liked what i say. Well from the pics something was said that many of us are waiting for to happen.

I have yet to see the last episode, and I'm not sure how things went in the conversation between Kazuma and Ayano... but I'm thinking that we won't get to see Kazuma doing what he did to Ayano in the novel (stroking her hair), and we get to see him embracing her instead (as was also shown in the preview). I'm crossing my fingers and am hoping that the ending will be a good one >x<

I'm late once again... as I've just posted my summary of episode 23. Whew... took me quite some time to finish up my thoughts and deep frying >_< But I hope you guys will still read it (thoughts in particular) because of stuff in the novel that should've made things clear in that battle between Ayano and Kazuma.

I got around to watching episode 22 this evening. I burst out laughing when Yukari's Google search on Rumors & Seeds turned up Gonzo's actual web address in the list. My husband had to come into the room to find out what amused me so much.

I found it rather emotional to finally see what happened in the past with tsui rin meeting her end while kazuma was screaming on the sidelines, man with all this crap thrown onto his face I find it reasonable that he went berserk

The final word that the lapis told kazuma must have been so heartbreaking but i think theres a number of reasons for this. Either rin's last words was changed by lapis because she wanted kazuma to forget about her (ie rin) and move on with his life or it was something to provoke kazuma to end her life. Either way i can feel some hidden motive that the lapis still has the memories and feelings of rin, maybe while she isnt in full control of her body, her thoughts do go though the "doll".

Rather tragic really if this is the case. As the Lapis said, she wanted a heart but imo she already has one which she is unaware of. she may have sought death to relieve her from her current pain of not being able to be with kazuma or seeing him suffer like this with the reasons i mentioned above.

Kazuma on the other hand is trying his best to keep his tears from flowing. I guess at this point he has totally given up on rin knowing that this love has got to end. And because lapis would have known kazuma's doubts if she told him rin's last words which is 90% "i love you" she chose to get him to end his suffering by crushing his hope of ever being together again - "i want to kill you" -

But now kazuma has a new reason to live on. Not that of revenge but rather to protect his loved ones especially ayano. I see this shift in affection quite understandable. I do not believe that kazuma is using ayano as a substitute for his lost love because looking at it he really loves her and forgetting about the past is one step towards having a new relationship. This is a good point btw

As for the episode itself i just loved the content. Everything was done well and i found that the time was used very wisely. nothing was rushed or drawn out, it was just perfect. Infact when it finished it felt that i only just started watching completely loosing all track of time

I agree, this series is a "guilty pleasure". It was fun to watch and the Kazuma X Ayano moments were funny...in some ways, very touching, too. I hope they come out with a 2nd season.

Certainly also got that feeling that there could be a second season down the road. Just the way it finished off left me feeling they could do more down the road. Though would be nice if someone with something called a budget and being capable of adapting the novel better takes care of that.

In terms of the series. While there were some down points in how they adapted things and the effort they put in compared to other series. But in the end partially thanks to good blogging and excellent discussions I enjoyed every time the series released an episode. Characters like Yukari and Nanase were a real bright spot to things and the Kazuma and Ayano moments were enjoyable as well.

Certainly is a sad thing to think that it's finished. But still some discussion to be had about this final episode, the series overall, and when the subs come out there will still be some things to say.

I loved this series because of Ayano. I wished for a happy rpmance ending but I am not sure if this will happen - I don't have luck in anime endings. I hate characters that cry over the past and don't see what is in front of them and don't give a chance to other people.
I would like to see Lapis get killed but from Kazuma or maybe a fight between lapis and Ayano where Ayano is at the end of her strenght and Kazuma must decide: save Ayano or let Lapis live and loose Ayano. In that moment he would notice that at the present the one he loves is Ayano and that he doesn't want to loose her.

The summary for the last episode of KnS (with my thoughts on the episode and the series overall) is finally up in my blog ^-^
Kaze no Stigma 24 (Finale)

Despite the wtfudge ending, I still liked the series as it is. If you haven't found out by now, that one of my main reasons for watching this is the Kazuma x Ayano antics which I look forward to in each of the episode

The scene in this finally episode, especially, was really sweet and lived up to my expectations ^^ There are just some stuff missing which should've made it all waffy and sweeter XD

It'll be great to see a second season, but before that, I just hope the author will get better and be able to continue on with the series.

But this end doesnt affect me much, heck its not even a proper cliffhanger! So ill just sit back and wait for the next series to come rolling in

But didn't the end feel incomplete with Burnheart alive and aslo Lapis. Will they leave it like that? or make another season when the novel get further ahead? __________________

Spoiler for Ep24: Looks like we got that hair stroking scene after all. Not a bad trick with the gentle breeze. Really thought Ayano's head was going to blow up there. Considering its Kazuma that's probably as much as claim of affection. It's a starting point after all and just shows that he cares and the slap was good as well. And yeah Kazuma was just having a lot of fun with Ayano running around. He can take care of himself so no big deal if she's chasing him with Enraiha. Certainly I felt with Bernheart and Lapis still alive that things just aren't finished yet. That duo will require dealing with that's for certain. Of course since there are more novels to read we know there is more story. Plus the fight against that massive enemy pretty much ended in a second but considering their luck with battle's maybe that's alright. Plus we got to see Uzumi die and that is fine with me. The last words for Rin could certainly be seen in a few ways. I'm pretty certain it wasn't that she hated him for what happened or that she was going to die. But I agree it could be something like stirring him on to finish her off or for him to move on with his life and not live feeling bad for what happened. In terms of the series. If they're going to make a s2 fine, but at least give us a good fight between Ayano and Lapis. I was expecting at least Lapis to get killed for an ending, but we got sh17! The fight with Burial (if you can even call that a fight) was sh17. Kazuma need to kill Lapis already, your gf is gone, and if he can't do it, Ayano really need to do it for him. Overall, I give this series a 7, but the ending gets a 1 from me.
