It's all but officially confirmed at this point. We've seen merchandise related to Mother's Rosario labeled as SAOII merchandise, so about all that's left is an official statement.

honestly i think they do need to adapt Calibur its a lead in to Mother's Rosario we will know after episode 14 what they are doing.

probably before if they slim it down it could be like the original content for extra edition. in order Calibur takes place before Mother's Rosario and Calibur would give Sinon a bit more screen time.

well if they happen to finish the season with mother's rosario, like I've said before I would find it odd(not sure if this is the right word) if the main chara kirito gets little screen time in the last episode...so maybe they'd include caliber AFTER mother's (although caliber happened before Mother's)

We already know SAO's author wanted Mother's Rosario animated for Asuna, rather than Kirito.

My guess is that if Caliber doesn't get animated in the show proper, it'll get turned into an OVA special or something along those lines.

Chronologically it'd take place before Mother's Rosario, but release-wise it'd happen after.

I wonder how they will animate caliber if at all because if I recall one of the critical methods of transportation was omitted from the anime version of the second half of the first season. It'd look a little awkward to suddenly retcon it back in.

The legs on Yuuki and Sinon's ALO avatars look too long in those images.

Also, does anyone thing that if someone was looking at an image of Yuuki and Asuna together and didn't know who Yuuki was they might think that Kirito's experience in GGO was having lingering effects on his psyche?
