Wow, it was barely two weeks ago when I had no clue what this contest is about. That was on page 12. Look at where we're at now.

@qtip: Way not to thank me, you mitsuki-shipping-c.c.-leloucher-fate-sakura-pedo-tentacles-gargler. And since I forgot to vote for Mai, I vote for Mai 03.

HELL NO's.

This year an underdog shall win! An underappreciated series shall become known!

VOTE KIRI. Stay-at-home-in-blanket-moe delivers!

Yes, Kingdom Hearts II lyrics reference.

First post updated in terms of assignments - characters in blue = profile pics already confirmed.

He's talking about which profile pics for each character, not for the actual contest itself, in which campaigning with the term "vote" is against the rules...

@Kagedanji: I think you're mistaken. We're not campaigning (which is against the rules, but we break too many of those anyways), but we're voting on which profile picture to use for those characters.

But speaking of Kiri, it would be interesting if a character with such...unique design can win.

Actually, we should consider ourselves lucky Klashikari hasn't found out we've turned the ISML thread into an art project. But yeah, if the intent is to provide options for character profiles and not to campaign, I think we should be alright. If a moderator all of a sudden does something, then I'll talk to him or her about it.

PLEASE AVOID USING THE WORD "VOTE" WITH THE INTENT TO CAMPAIGN.

Maybe any post using "vote" with huge colored letters wether campaigning or not should be avoided to stop any confusion...

Ah, you caught that? Good.
I was debating with myself whether or not to leave the floating "and" without a period.

Whoops.

Ah, but I kid.

I also changed it because I read over it again and it wasn't clear.

EDIT: Stop posting so frequently so the fat VOTE sign stays on the page.

Okay, here's something else - the Arena page has been replaced with the Credits section. It's nice, except now I have no clue where to put the archives page (ran out of tab space). And we might need it pretty soon, too, because the nomination standings will go kaput if I don't find a place to leave them.

Wow, what a difference. After going through the profile pictures and connecting names to faces, doing the scheduling thingy is much more fun. Before, it was just typing names I don't know, and now, I actually do know.

Spoiler for Shana bio - unedited, for reference:

Good draft. I'd say the apostrophes get a little tiresome later on in the second paragraph - you could drop them in the last sentence or just the very last instance, or change the sentence a bit: "Why was she paying so much attention to an insignificant object?". Not necessarily, though. I like it as it is too.

3rd paragraph, I'd stick to past tenses for pre-anime events and present for "during plot" events. So:
Spoiler for revision:

Slipped in some minor changes. Also omitted Alastor, he'd need to be explained somehow, his significance isn't obvious.

PS About to leave the thread for two whole days, and already afraid of the catching up to come.

The thing about ISML is that matches don't happen every day - It's every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. News about each match usually come in waves.
