I'd go with Outbreak, seems obvious enough but then that maybe too obvious.

So what I'm hoping for the next film?

The Lovely Miss Bryce Dallas Howard looking like this

Indeed it is, the Lovely Hannah Dundee.

Jurassic World has come really close to bringing this great cartoon to life!

The next outing could be the dream come true!

Ka-bump...aaaand a familiar face returns:

Quote:
Jeff Goldblum is returning to the land of dinosaurs.

The actor, who co-starred in 1993's Jurassic Park and 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park, will appear in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s next Jurassic World film.

J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is directing the next installment in the studio's hit franchise. Jurassic World earned $1.67 billion worldwide in 2015 and is the fourth-highest-grossing film in history.

Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning for the sequel, which also stars Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones. Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, wrote the script for the follow-up with Derek Connolly. The film is slated for release on June 22, 2018.

Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again join executive producers Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow in the next chapter of the franchise. BelÚn Atienza is also producing. Universal vp production Sara Scott is overseeing production on behalf of the studio.

Goldblum will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm, the know-it-all mathematician who came to the park as an insurance consultant — and somehow survived both the original film and the sequel.

Goldblum will next be seen in Disney and Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, set to hit theaters Nov. 3. His other recent credits include Independence Day: Resurgence and The Grand Budapest Hotel. He also is reuniting with director Wes Anderson on the upcoming film Isle of Dogs.

Goldblum is repped by ICM, Industry Entertainment and Hansen, Jacobson.

Jeff Goldblum's career is blooming again . First ID:R then Thor 3 and now JW2. Keep it up, Jeff. Seeing you on-screen is always a delight .

That said, I hope he doesn't jinx the movie. I don't want another Lost World which is not as well-written as JP1 and not as fun as JP3. JP2 is my least favorite JP-movie.

^--- BTW, looks like I made a big mistake in my first post (well, actually a mod graciously split some posts from the previous JW topic to make a new thread, but that's beside the point). The "Jurassic Ou----" part apparently refers to a fansite and not the new movie's name. I seem to recall the name of the Twitter account had a different public name back then, leading me to think it was an official announcement (it even appeared on some news outlets, so I wasn't the only one fooled).

Bah.

As for JP2, well, Michael Crichton was contracted to write a sequel novel to JP, but I think the end result did NOT lend itself well to the big screen and did NOT provide a "decent" blockbuster (not many big action scenes aside from the T-Rex+raptor attack, lots of scientific and near-philosophical chatter) follow-up to Jurassic Park like the movie studios hoped...which forced Spielberg and his scenarists to slap something together to "salvage" the plot (and the millions of dollars already on the move), so to speak.

As for Jeff Goldblum, there's a lot of life left in him. His career is nowhere close to extinction.

I'm fine with that as long as they don't mix The Lost World into the current timeline where it did not happen along with JP3.

P.S. That gif is amazing.

Cue Ian Malcolm mentioning the "San Diego incident" and his Isla Sorna experience in JW2 .

First image of Jurassic World II: Night at the Museum, as tweeted by Bayona.

Unless it's a museum I'm not familiar with, could this be the inside of John Hammond's estate?
